Sea Blue Eyes {Narry}

Prolouge

Blue blurs passed through his line of vision, taking what little left of his breath he had away. Too sparkly to be a shark, yet too big to be just any ordinary fish.

Harry was struggling to break the surface, but he couldn't free himself of the kelp tangled around his legs. His breath came out in bubbles and his screams were muffled by the dense weight of water.

Then, he spotted the sparkly blue blur again, but his eyes were slowly closing shut as his body was becoming still. Before succumbing to the darkness, he saw blue eyes staring into his own. They reminded him of the sea, and as crazy as it sounds, he fell in love with the sea all over again.

Niall was casually taking a swim around the kelp garden, surveying the wildlife life hiding in its shadows; seahorses, octopi, squids, and an assortment of oddball fish. However, something stood out to him.

Near the top of the garden, was a strange looking fish. It resembled him in a way. It's top half looked like his, but it had two strange things poking out of his torso. It was also swimming funnily, thrashing about, flailing its... arms? Niall was intrigued by this weird fish and swam closer, but still at a safe distance in case the fish deemed him dangerous.

Bubbles were coming out of its mouth and Niall couldn't find any gills, so he swam closer to get a better look. He still couldn't find any.

Then, a thought struck him.

Niall's eyes widened realizing this creature wasn't a fish, but a human! Humans can't breathe underwater and the human wasn't swimming, it was drowning!

It was against the merfolk laws to interact with humans, but Niall couldn't just let the human die! So, he made a rash decision and helped the human.
