When you are a single mom, you go through so many obstacles because you have no one to support you, and when you do have someone to help you with your path your pride gets in the way.
Your pride gets in the way because you feel ashamed or embarrassed when you have to ask for help.
Especially being a woman in this day of age.
We are constantly undermined, underestimated, and taken advantage of simply because we are of the opposite gender.
When you are a woman in this world, in order to survive you have to be strong, smart, and fierce.
My mother is one of the many countless women who fit this category.
You have to be in this category if you're going to be a woman, especially a single mom.
My mother has always supported me and made sure I have everything I ever wanted.
Even when I was acting like a spoiled brat at the end of the day, my mother always made sure I had all the necessities growing up never letting pride or negligence get in the way.
She is the true definition of being a powerful, kind, and compassionate woman.
My mother taught me a lot of lessons growing up to be a strong, fierce woman and for that I am forever thankful.
The lesson however that sticks out to me the most is to never let pride get in the way and learn to accept help from others.
My mother taught me that accepting help from others does not make you weak, it makes you strong.
The reason behind this lesson is because learning when to admit you need help will make you a good leader and successful in life as a woman.
I would not be where I am today without the powerful woman who raised me to be STRONG, SMART, and FIERCE.
