Four steps to Dealing with and overcoming Stress.

1.       Empathize: acknowledge the emotions, and feelings of the moment.  Don’t try to hide it.  Be real with yourself.

2.       Uncover:  Find the root of each stress point.  We often feel stressed because we don’t understand why and what is bothering us.

3.       Isolate: Isolate the root from the feelings, options, and thoughts.

4.       Overcome:  Start to Apply the Word of God to the situation, deal with the root situation, i.e.  Talk to the people causing stress, come up with a plan to overcome, or prepare for the meeting.  Finally deal directly with the situation don’t talk about it with others or worry about it!

While these four steps are good for dealing with Stress the best way to keep stress under control is to take care of yourself!  This is done by getting the proper amount of sleep, eating well, getting exercise and taking time to play and relax.  By doing these most stress points will not even be causes for stress.
