Lev's pov

"Huh?! What do you mean Yaku" I said

I got caught off guard by his question, it's not really that weird that he asked me if I was in a relationship, that's what friends do right? We need to get to know each other a little.

"Well some girl is staring at us over there and I thought that it might be your girlfriend or something" he mumbled

I looked back and I saw her. Kaede was the girl that was staring at us.

"Oh... Yes i do know her... she is actually my girlfriend" I laughed awkwardly

I stood up and walked over to Kaede. She looked pretty mad, to be honest, but right now I didn't care, I was pretty mad that she had disturbed my "date" with Yaku.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her trying to sound calm

"I'm gone for three days and you're already out flirting with some boy, a boy Lev, did that Bedhead turn you into a fag or something" she said as she laughed a little

"I'm not flirting with him Kaede, he's my friend and we were just hanging out. Stop being so jealous all the time it's driving me mad" I said as I rolled my eyes at her

"You wiped away ice cream from his face with your finger, you were probably gonna use your tongue but hesitated" she mumbled the last part but I heard what she said

I just ignored what she said and started walking away, I could hear her yell at me from the distance but I couldn't care less.

I arrived at my and Yakus table and sat down again.

"What was that about" he asked curiously

"Nothing special, just my stupid girlfriend being toxic" I mumbled.

I realized what I said and slapped my hand over my mouth, Yaku just laughed at me

"I didn't mean for it to come out like that I just-"  I couldn't even finish my sentence before Yaku started laughing even harder.

"It's fine Lev..I get it" he said in between his laughs

I started to laugh with him and we just sat there laughing for a little while, it was nice, having a friend that I could laugh like this with. Yaku really is something special.

When we finally stopped laughing we decided to leave the ice cream shop and go do something else. We started walking and I decided to ask Yaku some questions. This was my chance to get to know him a little bit better.

"Soooo, Yaku. What do you do for a living" I said

"You already know that Lev, I paint" he giggled

"Oh yeah, well are you in a relationship then"

"No.. I'm single, but I'm not really looking for anyone at the moment" he said quietly

"Ah, I see. Well, you already know that I have a girlfriend. It's just that our relationship is pretty toxic.. I don't really know what to do though" I sighed

"Well Lev, I shouldn't get involved in your relationship but maybe you could talk it out with her, she might just be hiding her true self" Yaku said in a pretty calming tone, at least it seemed calming to me.

"I could try, but I feel like this is her true self, before we started dating she was a really sweet girl, but when we started dating she turned into some toxic bitch" I said. I knew that I called her a bitch but I didn't even care this time.

Yaku laughed a little before looking up at me.

"You're really tall Lev" he said

"You noticed that now?" I chuckled

"No no... I just felt like mentioning it" he said looking away from me again.

I just laughed at how serious he acted right now, I found it pretty funny for some reason.

We arrived at a park and we went over and sat on some swings.

"Thank you for today Lev, I had a great time" he said without making eye contact with me.

"Hey it's not over yet" I said and tried to make eye contact with him

"Yeah, guess so" he mumbled

Yaku seemed to be in a bad mood, I didn't know why but I just felt like he was a little bit down. I didn't like this side of Yaku, he seemed like a whole different person.

"Hey... Are you okay Yaku?" I said

"Huh? Yeah, I am. I guess I'm just sad that this day is soon over I don't know how much we will be seeing each other anymore you know" Yaku said blushing a little

"Hey, I have your number and I can come stop by at your work sometimes you know, we're friends you know" I said putting my hand on his shoulder

"Stop that... You're embarrassing" he mumbled.

"Hey! I'm not embarrassing, you started this!" I said

"You are!" He grunted back

"I'm not" I pouted

After arguing for a while we both bursted out in laughter. When we finally finished laughing at each other we stood up and decided to start heading home.

We finally came to the point where we had to go separate ways.

"I'll see you soon Yaku" I smiled.

"Yeah" He mumbled

I was just about to turn around and start walking home when I felt something warm embracing my body. It was Yaku, Yaku was hugging me.

I promise that I will add some humor to this story soon.

I'm also very sorry if the characters are too much OOC but they're older and stuff and I just felt like they would act a little bit different.

Kuroo and Kenma will also start popping up a little here and there in the story so yeah. I hope you enjoyed:)
