I woke up today in a cheerful mood. I did my morning routine and choose a nice outfit. I wore an oversized black sweater with grey sweat pants since it wasn't very cold outside, but it wasn't hot enough to were short sleeve. I walked out of my room towards the kitchen to get a few snacks along with me on my journey. I went to the living room to get my backpack and shoes. I put on my shoes and heading out the door.

I started to walk down the pathway towards the woods. I walked for about 15 minutes until I saw the beautiful flower path. I smiled while inhaling deeply. I sighed in content as a sat down in the never-ending flower field.

I pulled out my painting board and started to paint what came to my mind. I started with a rough sketch to get an idea of what I'm going to do. soon I started to paint my picture. By the time I was done painting, I set down the painting beside me while I stretched my back. I heard a small crack and I sighed in satisfaction. I pulled my phone out of my backpack with my headphones and turned on a random song on my playlist. I started humming with the song while laying down relaxing my back.

I didn't notice I dozed off until I was startled awake by a terrible dream. I looked around to make sure I was still at my safe place. I took my headphones out of my ears grabbing my painting, as I sat up throwing my backpack on my back. I shivered a little at the cold. I started to speed walk towards my house with tiredness in my eyes. While walking towards my house I started to slow down noticing someone I wish wasn't there sitting on the porch on their phone. I rolled my eyes as I groaned. 'why I was having such a nice day' i thought as I whined when I notice I was getting closer to the house. He looked up at me when he heard me stomping up the stairs. I watched as he stood up and walked towards me. "what why do you keep looking at me" he didn't say anything but kept staring. I rolled my eyes once again and started to unlock the door. "where were you?" I heard him whisper. I turned towards him cocking an eyebrow. "And what does that have to do with you?" I answered his question with a question. He didn't seem to like my response and I smirked at how I got under his skin.

he didn't say anything after that so I just unlocked the door and went inside. I turned around and he seemed deep in thought so. "Zach," I said loud enough for me to hear but I got no response so I said it louder "ZACHARY" he jump a little. I looked at him confused and he just played it off by clearing his throat walking past me into the house. I shrugged my shoulders walking towards my room to change clothes.

I closed the door behind me. while shrugging my backpack off my shoulders, and kicking my shoes off. I took only my pants while keeping the sweater on since it already reaches my mid-thighs. I jumped on my bed cuddling up to my body pillow.

"fucking omega did you think you could run from me" I looked up shaking violently "how dare you try to get away from me". I slowly started to back up shaking my head from side to side. while repeatedly saying sorry. "sorry doesn't cut it this time bitch" the disgusting man spat as he tugs on my hair making me cry out in pain." you will learn today "no please let m-" before I could finish saying my sentence he stopped talking altogether and stared at me blankly with zero emotion in his eyes making me even more scared. what he said next made me even more confused. "Wake up" 'huh what does he-'

I jumped up while gasping for air I turned beside me and saw Zach sitting next to me looking at me worriedly. "What happened why were you screaming?" he asked. I looked at him confused " I was screaming?" I asked shakingly "yes." he answered "it was just a bad dream I guess I don't remember anything anyways" he didn't say anything he just patted my head while walking out the door. I watched as he left before I laid on my back with my hand over my abdomen staring at the ceiling. I sighed while rolling to my side trying to go back to sleep with a racing heartbeat.

The nest morning

I woke up due to the sunlight on my face. I turned the other way pulling my cover over my head. I laid there for 5 more minutes before getting up. I put on some random pants I found comfortable. I walked towards my bedroom door heading to the bathroom. I walked into the bathroom grabbing my toothbrush and the toothpaste. Once I was done brushing my teeth I grabbed my face towel and wash my face, and cleaned my ears. I hang up my towel on the towel rack before heading towards the kitchen for food.

"I'm surprised you still here" I commented when I saw Zach leaning on the corner with his arm crossed while drinking coffee. Zach looked up at me before saying "your brother told me to keep an eye on you until he and Tanya get back from their trip." "I don't need to be watched," I said a little annoyed that my brother still treats me like a kid. he shrugged before saying "Not my problem he told me that you hate to be alone when your pre-heat comes around." I blushed out of embarrassment "he didn't have to say all that I could've just called one of my friends over" he just looked at me with a look I couldn't understand. I blushed slightly for reason unknown while looking anywhere but him. "it's food in the microwave if you want any, your brother left you a plate because he knew you wouldn/t be woke by the time he left."

I nodded while walking towards the microwave. I opened the microwave to make sure there's no silverware in there before closing it again and warming up my food. I poured myself some apple juice while waiting till my food was ready. I looked up when I heard a ding I grabbed my food out of the microwave and dug in.

Once I was done eating I threw the paper plate away and went to watch tv. Today was honestly boring there's nothing to do and I don't wanna go outside so what should I do. "Hey move your legs let me lay right here." I sighed totally forgetting he was here. I moved my legs sitting up correctly to make room for him. "So, How has life been," I said awkwardly trying to start a conversation. he looked at me and chuckled. "okay, I guess me and my ex broke up because I caught her cheating on me." I looked at him after he said that "aw you had a girlfriend" he looked at me like he was offended "yes I did we were together for 2 years I brought her around before." he said I stilled look at him confused "sure, if you want me, to be honest, I always thought you were a playboy." I said casually while changing the channel he looked at me in shock "how dare you think of me in that way" he said a little angry I just laughed while shaking my head. "I'm sorry you just give me that typical alpha vibes." he looked at me with the most offended look "Well I have you know I already found my mate so I'm kinda glad my girlfriend cheated on me." I looked over at him in shocked "really who are they? do I know them? how old are they? do the-" before I could finish asking my questions he cut me off "stay curious because I'm not telling you anything" he said with a sly smirk. "what why not" I whined. he just smiled while shaking his head no. I pouted while turning back to the tv while he laughed loudly at my reaction.
