Fortress of Solitude
12:00 pm

The Justice League's main seven members of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Flash and Martin Manhunter sit in The Grand Hall.

"Thank you all for coming." Said Superman. "Before we begin, I need to say that this meeting is to be kept off the books."

"Only us, the Leaders of The Justice League can know this information until the day comes." Diana stated.

"Let us begin." Said Batman. Flash and the others looks at each other and then nods their heads.

Batman:
"Last Fourth of July, Robin, Kid-Flash and Aqualad infiltrated Cadmus in Washington D.C. Not only did they find the Superboy Clone, the three found out that Cadmus and the Criminals were getting stronger."

"We've been sending The Team on missions and the main six of Robin, Aqualad, Kid-Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, and Artemis have been trained by the most powerful/skilled members of the seven here today."

"What are you getting at?" Asked Flash.

"We need to consider our options, That is why we have developed a new plan. Codename Legacy: In the case that the seven of us are to be killed and the main figures of the JLA are no more- then it will be up to the Team to become the leaders of the League." Batman paused as he looked around the room. Everyone was shocked.

"Bruce they are just children." Said Green Lantern.

"Children yes, biologically right now, but are the Most logical choice for this protocol."

"I don't know, it's one thing to have Oliver, Red Tornado, or heck even Captain Marvel when he's in adult form- but my nephew." Stated Flash before continuing, "Your Partners, sons, niece, and even Artemis, she's family to Oliver."

"Barry this is if we are to perish in a worst case scenario." Said Superman.
"Clark and Bruce are right, this protocol is vital to maintain the League." Said Wonder Woman.

"Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Red Tornado will be supervisors to the team and will lead the League until the Team can handle it on their own.  Captain Atom will also be promoted to the public face of the League." Said Batman. "Together Canary, Arrow and Red Tornado would coordinate missions, operate any political mandate and handle everything we contribute to the League as of this very moment."

Aquaman stands up from his seat and looks Batman straight in the eye.

"Is this truly necessary?"
"Yes." Said Batman.
"When do we inform them?" Asked Martin Manhunter, who has silently been taking this all in.

"Friday at 3:00. I do not wish to tell them right away." Said Batman.

"Why is that?" Asked J'onn.
"It's the anniversary of the day we founded the JLA." Said Diana. "The majority of us wants it to be a happy day filled with joy and celebration. Unlike a certain Bat." 

"Very well." Said Aquaman. "Let us head to the Watchtower." The League start walking to the Zetatubes.

"We should stop by Mount Justice to see the Team." Said Wonder Woman as she typed in the coordinates. "Invite them for some appetizers." 

A loud vacuum sound fills the icy corridor as a Boom-Tube opens up in the Fortress!

Suddenly Bullets started teleporting into the fortress of solitude.

"Move!" Yelled Aquaman as he, Superman, and Wonder Woman block the bullets.

Suddenly Reverse-Flash, Deathstroke and Metallo enter. All wearing Kryptonite gear. Superman begins to fall to the ground and pass out.

"Take them down Hard!" Yelled Batman as he leaps and throws smoke pellets. Reverse-Flash races and knocks Batman, GL, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman out cold.

"My turn." said Deathstroke as he sets the floor on fire, melting some ice within the room. Martin Manhunter and Aquaman fall as Barry Allen rushed towards the Zetatubes. He rushes in and is Teleported away.

"Damn he got away!" Said Reverse-Flash.

"Continue with the mission, take them to Cadmus." Said Deathstroke . He begins to dial into his communicator.

"This is Slade, Operation Freedom is a go. Except the speedster got away."

"Don't worry, he will tell the others and we will soon succeed with our plan to rid the JLA." Said the mysterious voice over the comms.

"ZetaTubes have been hacked and can not be operated for at least 48 hours on all systems." Said Metallo typing an advance algorithm.

"Good, activate the Boom-Tube." Ordered Deathstroke. Metallo grabs the Motherbox and in a flash of light and with a giant swallowing sound, everyone was gone. The Fortress becomes silent.
