After frisk finished their paperwork we headed to the door adjusting our shoes to go out
"so... You guys are leaving now?" Flowey asked whilst looking at both of us causing me to turn my gaze to them "Yes we are.. I'm sorry that I can't take you" frisk got closer to him and pat his head also getting a hold of him and putting him near the window "We'll be back before you know it!" Frisk gave a bright smile as they opened the door and walked outside, I gave flowey a smile which soon turned into a mischievous smile and sticking my tongue out before waving goodbye "Bye you weed! Don't miss us too much~"
I turned around feeling flowey rolling his eyes and looking the other way giggling to myself as I closed the door and heading to frisk's direction
Frisk: "Chara wait!"
Chara: "Hmm?"
Frisk : "I forgot something"
Chara: "what is it?"
Frisk smiled and gave me a quick kiss on the lips then ran off
frisk : "Race you there buttercup!"
Chara: "that- that's not fair! You caught me off guard you weirdo!"
We started laughing as we raced to the park I started to get tired soon stopping on a small hill and frisk letting themselves fall on the grass floor
Chara: " haha you okay?"
Frisk: " Hah yes haha that was fun"
Chara: "sure was"
I sat beside them whilst looking at them
Frisk: "haha what?"
Chara: "pfft nothing, just admiring the beautiful view"
Frisk: "But you're looking at- ..... CHARA "
Chara : "Haha whattt it's true though, you're beautiful"
Frisk: "hmph..."
Frisk: "anyways... There's tons of flowers over there!"
Chara: "mhm do you want to go?"
Frisk: "Yep! Let's go"
Frisk's POV
We walked our way to the flowers and sat down
I started grabbing some flowers off the ground making a flower crown for Chara, I really hope they like it
Chara: "Whatcha doing?"
Frisk: "a little something"
Chara: "which is...?"
Frisk: "pfft shut up! It's a surprise can't you just wait?"
Chara: "alright alright, rude much"
Frisk: "aw c'mon you know I didn't mean it, I love you"
Chara: "prove it then"
Frisk: ".. Fine then"
I leaned in giving them a kiss that lasted a bit longer than expected
Frisk: ".. you happy now?"
Chara: "very much so, yeah"
We started laughing and I continued working on the crown, chara had started working on something as well but I couldn't see what it was
The sun soon went down revealing a beautiful night sky that had lots of stars
Frisk : "Chara look!"
I got up dragging chara up with me and pointed to the sky showing them all of the stars above, their eyes soon glowing too
Taking advantage of the moment I placed the flower crown on top of their head getting a surprised look from them once they realized the item on top of their head
Chara: "a flower crown?"
Frisk : "Do you like it?"
Chara: "I love it... Thank you"
Frisk: "Yay!"
chara: "Frisk"
Frisk: "hm?"
Chara: "I.. also gave something for you"
Frisk: "what is it?"
Chara soon got to their knees
It was a bit windy, not a bad type of windy though.. it was calming
The flowers started dancing with the wind as well as some leafs of the trees started to fall due to it being fall soon
Chara: "frisk.."
Chara was holding a flower ring
I suppose it was the item they were making a few moments ago, the one they didn't let me look at
Chara: "This may not be.. a proposal ring .. I know we are still Young and we have things to do.. anything could happen either it being bad or good"
Chara: "that's why... I'm giving you this promise ring... It may not be that special but it will hold a promise, my promise"
Chara: "frisk.. I promise to always love you.. to always protect you, always be by your side in dark skies and in light no matter what, no matter the time, no matter if we're apart I will always love you and I promise to be here with you, frisk.. I love you"
Chara: "I... One day it'll actually be a proposal but it'll be more special.. I want to marry you one day frisk, you make me the happiest person alive"
Chara: "will you keep this promise with me..?"
without me noticing, tears started falling down my face
I kneeled down to where chara was and ended up hugging them
Them hugging me in the process then afterwards giving me a kiss in the forehead
Frisk: "I'll keep our promise..I love you Chara"
Chara: "I love you too frisk"
