2: CONFUSION

"Fine. Pyar se bolta hu. Please go sir inside my car", Sidharth requested politely. Shehnaaz looked at him shockingly as she was not expecting him to reply politely adding please word. She doesn't have any option left that's why she nodded and sat in the passenger seat. Sidharth parked his car at his mansion and came out. He walked towards Shehnaaz who looked scared and nervous seeing a big building. What if someone tried to misbehave here? What if he is going to keep her as his hostage?

"Is this your home? How many people live here?", Shehnaaz asked curiously looking at the building. Sidharth looked at her sharply as if he was going to ask why she is asking this question but by looking at her innocent face and noticing her tear marks he replied politely

"Me and my workers. Now you too", Sidharth replied and gestured for her to follow him. Sidharth went inside and told his workers to give Shehnaaz a comfortable dress and asked them to keep her safe

"They will keep you safe. They will show you the way to your room", Sidharth told her and went towards his room. His workers gave a few dresses to Shehnaaz. Initially, Shehnaaz denied wearing those but when workers told her that this was Sidharth's order and it will harm thier job then she changed into a suit. Shehnaaz liked the room which she got and sat on the bed remembering her father and didn't realise when she slept

In the morning she woke up at 6 am with a breaking sound and sat on the bed with a jerk. She started moving towards his room in slow steps and saw Sidharth shouting at a poor worker

Sidharth: what the hell? Why it's too sweet? I told you not to add much sugar then why you did? And tight security. No one is allowed to come inside without my wish and don't let that girl go out. One mistake and then forget your job

Shehnaaz shivered Hearing his loud voice. She placed her hand on her mouth to control her tears but she got trapped when that man got scared seeing her. The man jerked suddenly which alerted Sidharth and he thought there is someone who is spying on him

Sidharth: who is there?

Shehnaaz didn't say anything just screamed in fear hearing his voice. She stood straight while leaning against the wall and didn't move a bit. She tried hiding herself thinking that Sidharth will kill her or torture her.

Sidharth: who is there?

Sidharth asked angrily raising his voice, Shehnaaz shivered again and came in front of him in baby steps. On seeing Shehnaaz he sighed in relief and gestured for her to sit. He asked his question softly as he don't want to scare her now, already he can see fear in her eyes clearly

"What are you doing here? And why you woke up so early? Anyways as you are awake I want to warn you. Don't go out of this house till I allow. I will let you go once the problem gets solved. You will not face any problem that's my promise ", Sidharth said in a soft voice maintaining his calm posture which shocked the man as he noticed Sidharth was angry a few seconds ago. He stepped back to let Sidharth and Shehnaaz talk. Sidharth softened his tone as Shehnaaz's life is in danger because of him. And he can't let her go now.

Shehnaaz: why am I here?

Shehnaaz asked in a low voice as she is curious to know why he want to keep her here when he want to free her in future. Why not now?

"I don't like giving explanations so better be quiet ", he said as he can't tell her the reason. If he told her then Shehnaaz will take him lightly and will leave this house. Also, his main motive is to save her, not get appreciation.

He replied in a cold voice and looked aside as he don't want to lash out at this innocent girl who has nothing to do with the problem he is facing. He doesn't want anyone to harm her. Her cute face will not let him show his anger.

"I need to go out Mr I have my college", Shehnaaz told him and looked at the ground again. Sidharth rubbed his hand on his forehead thinking what to do now? As he knows the importance of a degree and he is no one to interfere in her matter but her safety?

"First of all it is Sidharth, not Mr", Sidharth told sharply

"Then remember my name also. It's Shehnaaz", Shehnaaz said telling her name to him. Seeing her childish behaviour Sidharth chuckled and nodded calling her name softly

"Handle everything from here I will talk with your principal. Tell me the name of your college", Sidharth asked and gestured for that boy to go.

Shehnaaz: kyu yahan se kyu? Mere ghar se kyu ni? Why I am not safe?

Shehnaaz asked and received a glare from Sidharth. Shehnaaz got scared and said that she understood and told the name of her college to him

Sidharth: I'm going to the office and will come at night

He said and left. Shehnaaz wiped her tears and thought of running from here as only this will save her from him

"Why he told me this? I'm not his wife who will wait for him. He is a stranger and I can't trust him. I have to leave this place before he comes", Shehnaaz thought because she don't believe Sidharth. Because of his anger, she thinks he is not a good person and kept her here for his benefit. When she was going towards the door she bumped into one maid

Maid: mam you can have your breakfast now

Shehnaaz: I don't want anything

Maid: mam sir asked me to ask about your favourite dishes and also let us know about your routine we will follow that

Shehnaaz: Why? I don't want him to do anything for me.

Maid: mam it's our duty. So please can you tell us

Shehnaaz: fine I will tell you after sometime

Maid: and breakfast?

Shehnaaz: ok I am coming

Shehnaaz said with a smile and came behind that girl. Right now she is hungry and wants to have something before leaving this place.

Maid: ok mam. By the way, I am happy to see a girl here. You are beautiful

Shehnaaz: thank you, dear. I have one question.

Shehnaaz asked to which the maid questioned back asking Shehnaaz to put her question

Shehnaaz: is he a murderer? He kills people right? And how many girls came here with him before?

Shehnaaz asked curiously as she want to know this thing. If he does then she will not take a minute to leave this place

Maid: Yes but he kill the ones who committed a crime. You are the first girl I ever saw with him

Shehnaaz: he lives alone here?

Maid: yes mam

Shehnaaz: doesn't he ever feel suffocated? Is that the reason for his this nature? Did he ever feel pity for anyone?

Maid: I don't know

Shehnaaz: fine let's have breakfast come

Maid: thanks mam but we are not allowed

Shehnaaz: I am allowing na

Maid: no man. It is risky and I can't take the risk. Have It

Shehnaaz: he had his breakfast or not?

Maid: no man today he left before having breakfast

Shehnaaz: toh vo khana bahar se kahenge?

Maid: I don't think so as he rarely skips meals and he comes late at night so we don't know

Shehnaaz: Does he takes a drink or not? And smoking?

Maid: no mam I never saw him like that

Shehnaaz nodded and completed her breakfast. She is confused about what to do now. Whether to trust Sidharth or not? What if he is not the right guy?
