just being lost in your own world?

Hyejin places her hands inside the pockets of her thin black jacket, the unexpected cold breeze in the air grazing over her skin. The weather decided to dip down slightly, but it wasn't too hot, nor was it too cold. She adjusts the grey sweatpants she was wearing above her waist, layering on top of the beige tank top she had on. The slight tightness of the tank top on her body made her feel a bit more exposed, but she just chooses to ignore it𑁋trying to ignore all those words that had been said to her before. She knew it would be hard, but it was something she was willing to try.
(maria era outfit supremacy)She hums lowly as she passes by a variety of houses, finding herself in the neighbourhood where Wheein's house was located. Out of all places she had managed to memorise, it was where the girl lived. And as creepy as that sounded, she knew what the house looked like from the outside𑁋its distinct desolate features that stuck out clearly like a sore thumb; it saddens her to the visual of it. And now, it would be her first time stepping inside the girl's house, and it was certainly a goal she had expected to never make it far to.
Maybe, soon, she could repay her.
The thought makes her smile. Hyejin had never been this far into a friendship with someone in years. It may not seem that far for some people, but it was definitely a big step for her, and it only makes her hope. There was something about her friendship with Wheein that she couldn't get herself to be able to exactly describe, but she adores it, loves it, and just like she had stated previously, Perhaps this mystery wouldn't be that difficult to uncover.
But then again, she could be wrong.
If there was one word Hyejin could use to describe Wheein, it would most probably be mysterious, or creative, or quiet, or imaginary. However one word is never enough to describe a person𑁋there's countless terms that Hyejin could quite possibly use to describe her. It surrounds her just from thinking about it as she nears the house with a deep, nervous breath leaving her mouth.
She didn't know why she felt shaky all of a sudden, perhaps maybe it was because it was becoming cooler outside each passing minute?
Shrugging it off, Hyejin finally arrives in front of Wheein's home after what seemed like hours of walking. She squints her eyes towards the house, trying to look at its quiet details. She could definitely tell that the light was on, but her view was blocked. A couple of the lights were on outside, illuminating more details of the small home that she had yet to see.
Some confidence grows inside of her as she takes a couple of large steps towards the door, feeling some pieces of overgrown grass brush against the skin of her exposed ankles. The feeling makes her shiver once more before she finds herself staring at the door. Again, the nervousness comes back within her, and she wasn't sure why. The thought of stepping foot into Wheein's home sent goosebumps to dance up and down her skin.
It would be just a simple dinner invite, right?
Either way, since ignoring feelings was one of Hyejin's greatest talents, the girl slowly lifts a hand up before knocking on the door cautiously.
