You take a breath in as you continue walking, your day getting increasingly worse. There was a slight wind that day, so your hair was constantly blowing in your face, and you constantly moving it from your face. As you were arranging your hair as you walked, you bumped into someone, who was much taller.
"Are you alright?" The guy said, extending a hand to help you up.
"I'm fine-" You cut yourself off, face turning a slight pink. You had bumped into Shoto Todoroki, who happened to be your crush. You accepted his hand though, him helping you up as you brush yourself off.
"Would you like to walk the rest of the way to school together?" He offered, his face showing no emotion, as always.
"A-are you sure?" You found yourself stuttering on your words, your face getting increasingly red.
"If I wasn't sure, why would I have asked?" He looked at you once more, then starting walking forward slowly, waiting for you to join him. You caught up with him without saying another word, staring at the ground. He noticed you were constantly moving your hair out of your face and held it back for you, without warning. You jumped at this a bit, his cold hand on the back of your neck.
"T-thank you, Todoroki-Kun..." You managed to spit that out of your mouth, smiling at him. He smiled back at you, for the first time. You were overwhelmed by his handsome smile, never wanting to leave that moment, but, you continued walking with him, and soon arrived at school.
As you arrived at school, Tenya remarked on the timing of you guys showing up, but Todoroki defended your case, and you continued until you two had to part ways, your desks being on opposite sides of the room.
After class, you decided you talk to Todoroki and ask him if he wanted to hang out after school. And to your surprise, he said yes! You were very happy, but contained your excitement and asked him where he wanted to go.
"Maybe coffee shop, I heard you like those kinds of places." He said, placing a hand on his chin.
You were happy he was thinking of you, but you responded with a simple: "Sounds great! Would you like to go now?"
"If it's ok with you, then sure."
You both leave the classroom together, picking up your things and leaving. The closest coffee shop was down the street, so that's where you guys headed. As you arrived Todoroki picked up speed a bit and opened the door for you, saying ladies first. You did a little curtsy and entered with him. You guys walked around the place for a bit, trying to find an open spot, but there seemed like there was none. You didn't want your first date with Todoroki to fail, so you desperately started to look around, wandering off from Todoroki. It wasn't a very large coffee shop, so you weren't worried about losing him.

As you were walking, a guy sitting pulled you by the wrist and smiled at you slyly. A chill got sent down your spine as he did this, and you struggled to get your wrist from his grasp. He suddenly pulled on you, his gaze settling on your skirt, which had frilled up with the sudden movement. You used your other hand to push it down, face red with embarrassment. You weren't calling out for anyone to help you, as you didn't want to cause a scene.
"Please let me go..." You muttered under your breath, practically growling.
"Come on baby~ Why don't cha' sit with me and maybe we could hit my house after~" He said, smirking unpleasantly at you.
You struggled once more at getting your wrist out of his hand, which only caused his grip to tighten, enough to make you let a noise, indicating you were hurt. Todoroki heard this and realized you weren't at his side anymore. He started looking around for you, until he saw you, struggling to be released. He started running towards you and you noticed, sighing a breath of relief.
"(Y/N)? Are you ok?" He asked you worried about your well-being. Just as you were about to answer, the man tugged on you once more, jerking you to the side. Todoroki then gave the man an icy glare, cold enough to freeze anything in its path. Ice started to form at his feet, his quirk being a little uncontrollable. "Let her go... before I have to do anything... rash." He said, looking him in the eyes. The man quickly dropped your wrist and started to leave as someone in uniform for the shop pulled him aside and spoke to him, not loud enough for you to hear. The person approached you and Todoroki, who had pulled you close to him, and explained how the man was told to leave the establishment, as harassment was not tolerated here.
You and Todoroki decided to leave without getting anything, your guy's time there had been bad enough.
"I really ruined everything didn't I Todo-" You were cut off as a soft finger was placed upon your lips, causing you to stop talking.
"Shoto. Just call me Shoto." He said before pressing his lips against yours and continued walking with you. Maybe this date wasn't a complete flop after all~
