It's Harry right? Whispered Lily. She has just welcomed her first child. They were in St Mungo's. James replied. "yes".
People started arriving.
"Hello! Here's our junior James. Hello little one !What's his name? Asked Sirius who arrived first looking happily at Harry.
Lily replied. "It's Harry, Harry James Potter. We went for the common names."
"Nice name, actually it isn't common anymore. Really. It was once common but then people stopped naming their children 'Harry' because of its popularity. Right now there are almost no more Harrys. The baby's so cute. May I hold him? Sirius said.
"Sure mate! No need to ask." Said James.
Sirius took baby Harry in his arms. Then James said after a nod from Lily. "And you will be his godfather." "Me?" Sirius asked looking up at James and then at Lily. His eyes starts watering. Then he said "Such an honor! Thank you for choosing me." He then started examining baby Harry who was placed carefully in his hands, then he commended. "He looks a lot like you Prongs. And he has Lily's rare eyes". "We know." said James smiling at his friend
Many other friends including Remus arrived. Lily's childhood bestfriend Alice became Harry's godmother. However she couldn't come because she was admitted in the same hospital in the next ward with her own child Neville. Lily became his godmother. Soon, all left one by one. A few days later they were back at Potter manor. Harry was sleeping, Lily was reading and James was thinking deeply his head on Lily's lap. Life is finally perfect, he thought.
