Jennie's sat in the same position, now resting her head on the table, with her hand unconsciously doodling the same pattern over and over again in her journal.

"You're staying here till 8 then?"

"Oppa!" She yells, placing her hand on her heart, steadying her breath. "Why'd you sneak up on me like that?"

Teddy looks at her. His mouth is covered by his signature mask, but his scrunched forehead speaks for itself. "I didn't. You just scare easily." He takes a seat in front of her, swivelling the wheels of his chair left and right. His eyes narrow onto her journal, slowly angling his head to in attempts to read it. "How are the rap lyrics coming along?" he asks.

Jennie looks down on her page, then back at him sheepishly. "I've got nothing so far," she flashes him an apologetic smile.

It's not that she has nothing written down at all. She already wrote parts out for her rap the other day. But right now, she's having a hard time shutting down her thoughts, too worried about her girlfriend's wellbeing.

Filming back-to-back? Does she even get to sleep at night?

"That doesn't look like nothing," Teddy squints his eyes and leans forward.

Jennie looks down at her journal and notices that her doodles weren't doodles at all. A rush of warmth spreads to her cheeks.

She eyes the perfectly written Thai words on the empty spaces of her journal.

A smile forms on her lips as she traces the familiar writing with her fingers, the same way she'd trace it over Lisa's body in the silence of the night, repeatedly, before falling asleep.

A rhythm. A ritual. A message that she only hopes Lisa will carry with her wherever she goes.

My heart is yours, always.

Learning how to write in Thai was a skill she picked up from Lisa and her family. Don't get her wrong, she's not anywhere near as good at writing or speaking Thai, but she figured it only made sense to learn it. It was a way to bond more with Lisa's family and connect with them on a deeper level. And just when she thought she knew her girlfriend like the back of her hand, learning Thai opened a new door to her relationship with Lisa; a new lens to see her in.

And during the process, she realized she loved learning new things about Lisa.

"That's Thai, right?" Teddy asks, immediately cutting her away from her thoughts. He means no harm. His voice laced with curiosity, nodding to himself and looking impressed.

"Oh. Uh," she tries covering the page with her arm. "No?" She lies.

She doesn't know why she's lying about something so trivial, but sometimes conversations pertaining to her relationship just makes her shrivel up. They make her shy and instinctively protective. And yes, maybe it's because of the fact that her relationship must be kept under the wraps, but she also likes to believe that her instinctively protective nature is because she likes having this knowledge all to herself.
