What seemed forever, the movie she was watching finally displayed its ending credits.

It wasn't a bad movie, just really cringe.

Annie was bored. Ever since mikasa went home, she's the only person she's thinking about.

Annie felt connected to the song, like the song knew her, like the song felt her, like the song... held her close.

True the songs beat and production was addictive and captivating, but it was the lyrics that pulled her in, and is yet to let go.

Maybe it was the moon that gave mikasa the sudden rush of curiosity. Or maybe it was something else.

Annie turned her head to the question.
She didn't hesitate to vent.

"Not only is a lyrical masterpiece, it's a song that I can heavily relate too."

Mikasa inquired, not moving her heavy gaze on the moon.

The reply was quick and dry.
Mikasa turned her head. Annie was picking at the grass next to her.
