Ellin's Pov.
Today was an extremely big day for me. It was my first day of senior year and I couldn't be more excited. My two best friends Valerie and Kayeon weren't as excited as I was. I didn't expect them to be excited, but I was hoping they would be. I walked in to the bathroom to freshen up, just then I heard a voice coming from downstairs. It wasn't the usual voice I heard, which was my older brother and your mothers voice. But, it was rather deep and loud. I walked down the steps to see a tall man and a young boy standing at our door. The boy looked about my age, short but very handsome. I walked a little closer, just as I tripped over one of my baby brothers toy ducks.
"Argh!" I shouted, as I tumbled down the stairs.
"Oh! Ellin! Are you okay?" My mother rushed to my side helping me up.
"Yeah mom I'm splendid." I added sarcastically.
"Well, in that case there's somebody I would like for you to meet." She added coldly.
I wobbled over to the door, in complete and utter pain.
"This is Jackson, and his son Baekhyun. They're new to the neighborhood." I was embarrassed the boy was dressed nicely, as for I was still in my pajamas.
"Uh hi, I'm Ellin." I added nervously, the boy must have noticed I was nervous and bowed before replying.
"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." I laughed at the compliment.
"Thank you." I replied shyly, I wasn't used to compliments.
The boy smiled, not saying his name so I began walking up to my room, when I heard the unexpected.
"You two would be good together, get to know her better." Baekhyun's I suppose father added. I turned around to see baekhyun blushing and staring at me. I giggled to myself before walking back up the stairs.
Once I finished getting dressed I walked back down the stairs to not only see baekhyun and his father still standing there but also my two best friends.
"Great." I mumbled to myself, they were probably already assuming shit.
"Wow, you look great!" Valerie complimented with a wink. Kayeon giggled, Valerie always joked about our outfits. Today was different I guess, baekhyun looked me up and down before looking away. I smiled to myself, did I really look nice today? I mentally thought, before I was pulled from my thoughts by my mothers annoying voice.
"You're gonna be late if you don't leave now." I mentally slapped myself, she was right we had about 30 minutes. I grabbed Valerie's shoulders before shoving her out the door, Kayeon running behind me.
Chanyeols pov.
"Argh! what do you want Sehun?" I asked annoyed as fuck, Sehun always bothered me, whether it was about how ridiculous my glasses were or how tall I was.
"I have a little picture of you." I gulped, what did he mean by that?
"What! Show me!" I yelled a little louder than I intended. Sehun put his phone right in front of my face, I was in the restroom, pants pulled down everything was visible. I almost threw up, why did he have that?
"What the fuck! How did you get that?" I asked a little loud, once I saw people staring.
"Doesn't matter how I got it, what matters is I have it. And I'll get rid of it under one condition." I wasn't in any state of mind to do any cruel activity for him.
"Alright what?" I asked nonchalantly.
"Do you know who Ellin Koyeopl is?" He asked loudly. I mentally thought to myself, Ellin had been in all my classes last year. She was very bubbly and fun to be around, sadly we've never spoken before.
"Yeah. Of course. Who doesn't?" I added trying to sound cool.
"Well, let's make a deal. You get to know her a little, become friends, get her to fall for you. Then date her, but if she doesn't tell you 'I love you' within a month of dating deals over. This picture will be sent to everybody, including Boomi." What the fuck, that would be an awful thing to do to Ellin, she seemed so nice. But, if that picture got sent to my life long crush Boomi, I would more than likely commit suicide.
"Argh! alright. Fine." I agreed, already feeling guilty.
"Great! I'll be watching to see how it's going." Before walking away.
I mentally punched myself, Ellin would never fall for someone like me. It just wasn't possible, she was so bubbly and cute and I was tall and awkward. This is gonna be more difficult than it seems.
Ellin's Pov.
As I walked into school, I felt excited. A couple people said 'Hi' which made everything better.
"Looks who's staring at you." Valerie added disgusted. I looked over and saw none other than Park Chanyeol looking my way, he looked worried. We never spoke so why was he looking at me, it was all too confusing.
"Oh." Was all I could say, I wasn't mad he was staring just curious. He seemed to be thinking hard, but I ignored it and looked for my locker. Sure enough it was right next to his, this was not going as I planned.
"Hi, you're Ellin right?" He asked.
Woah! That was the first time I heard him speak and oh my god, his voice was so deep and velvety.
"Yeah! You're Chanyeol right?" I answered enthusiastically. He nodded, looking down.
"Nice seeing you, maybe we could talk later." He added nervously, I nodded before walking back to where my friends had previously been.
"So what'd he say to you?" Kayeon asked smiling. She always had a thing for tall boys, I laughed.
"He just said 'hi' normal conversation I guess." I added before throwing my bag over my shoulder and strutting to my first period class. Just as I was about to enter class a hand grabbed my wrist, and twirled me around.
"Ellin?" The voice asked, I was so dizzy I couldn't concentrate. Without paying attention I proceeded to walk into class, voices yelling my name every 10 seconds. I sat down at an empty seat, falling asleep immediately.
After what seemed like forever, it was finally time for lunch. I walked into the giant cafeteria, and into the lunch line. Today we were having ramen and I loved ramen.
"What can I get you Miss Ellin?" The lunch lady asked sweetly. I didn't hesitate to point at the ramen, the lunch lady laughed before handing it to me. I was about to pay for it when a hand reached out and handed the lady a 10$ bill. I looked up to see the one and only Park Chanyeol, why was he paying for my lunch.
"Hey, if you want to make friends, you got to start off small right?" He questioned. I smiled, was he really trying to become friends with me. The idea was ridiculous, but he did pay for my ramen so he was already getting close to it.
"Mind if I sit with you?" He asked along the way. I hesitated, I always sat with Valerie and Kayeon. But I guess they wouldn't mind if I brought him along. I shrugged, it wouldn't harm anyone if I let him sit with us.
"Hey guys!" I said enthusiastically.
Valerie looked at me, and her smile faded. It was now replaced with betrayal, I don't see why she would be mad. It was just one lunch with him, I nodded for him to sit down which he did so.
"What's he doing here?" She asked, not acknowledging the fact he had ears, pretty big ones.
"He asked to sit with me, so I said yes." I added quietly. Valerie glared at me as for Kayeon nodded understandably.
"Nobody informed me that a nerd would be sitting with us on the first day of school." I almost choked on my ramen, wow that was rude. Chanyeol stood up, and began walking away. I glared at Valerie and chased him down the hall.
"Hey!" I yelled. He ignored my attempts, so I sped up just as I ran into someone, spilling my ramen all Over them. And of course out of all people it was Baekhyun. Could this day get any worse.
