~chapter 4~

"k-kuroo??"

~Flash back~
"aren't you going to hangout with kuroo for your one year anniversary??" Aimi asked "no he said he was busy with volleyball and I don't mind" you said with a fake smile
you guys were currently walking home from school
"are you guys going to do anything" she asked "Yes! actually I'm going to surprise him after he gets home from practice later
"well i should get going i hope everything goes well" Aimi said kind of worried "okay ill text you later on how it goes" you said very happy that you'd see your boyfriend in a couple of hours

after Aimi left you ran to your room to grab the bag of stuff you got for kuroo
you got him and yourself a matching bracelets yours said "I Luv" in the periodic table and his said "you" in the periodic table, you thought they were corny but cute

you grabbed the gift and a bag to put extra clothes in thinking you were going to stay the night with him

~time skip~
kuroos front door

I arrived at kuroos front door I didn't want to knock so I grabbed a spare key his parents gave me and slowly made my way to his bedroom door

I walked in since the door was unlocked

and what I saw was kuroo making out with my now ex best friend, Ashido Sakura, I want to break down and cry 😢

he stopped and looked at me like he didn't just eat my friends face off in front of me

and the smirk that sakura sent me made my blood boil 😤 i didn't want to break a nail or waste time on these fools

so I just smiled and walked down the stairs out of his house
he didn't even try running after me
once I was a few houses away from his and I started crying
I didn't want to cry over someone like that but I did

I called Aimi and told her everything that happened and she just hung up on me :(

I made it home but the front door was already open and mom said she wasn't going to be back till friday and its Monday and my sister was currently at work

I opened the door and walked to my room to find a Aimi with like 5 bags of snacks, some jelly sticks, a pint of ice cream to share, and Banana fish already playing on the tv

"welcome home babes 🥺" she said
I ran and tackled her into a bear hug "you did this all for me?" I was crying once again

"no shit who do you think i did it for? the ghost 👻?" she really started crying with me
after the whole crying business died down
we eat, cried, laughed, and just had a good time overall

'I'm so lucky to have her 😌' i thought before falling asleep on her shoulder
Aimi soon after fell asleep as well

~end of flash back~

"u-um hi y/n how's it been?" kuroo asked
you quickly got out of his grip and said "its been better since I moved last year" with a small smile
"I'm sorry about what happened" he said "don't talk about it the past is the past right?" you said with an awkward chuckle "right anyways did you ever move on from me?" he asked "yes i-" you got cut off by a tired Aimi who was done getting the onigiri

"Y/n! are you finished getting the stuff suna wanted-" she looked at who i was talking to and was shocked "-oh hey kuroo long time no see" she awkwardly smiled at him

the tension in the air was so thick you could cut right through it

"whose suna?" he was curious "oh he's a friend of ours at inarizaki" I explained after minutes of silence and staring at each other aimi broke the silence
"well y/n we should be heading back" Aimi could feel how awkward it was
"yea well bye kuroo?" I said more as a question "wait can I explain what happened last year?" he asked
" no I saw what I saw and you won't change my mind bye now" I said back more harsh than I wanted
