DANIEL'S POV
James has already rung the studio and the investigators who are helping us. They can't officially take them to court until Giselle wakes up and tells them about the beating herself. It's been 6 weeks. I still have hope. She can't die, she can't leave me. I don't feel as accepted with the other members of A-troupe like I do with her. I love her.

I hear voices outside the hospital room. It sounds like Giselle's Aunt and Uncle fighting with her parents. They finally showed, after 6 weeks. I move ever so slightly closer to the door so I can hear what's happening.

"Where have you been? You're daughter has gotten the life beaten out of her and is unconscious in hospital for 6 weeks and you don't bother to show even once?" Her aunt says

"I was busy"

"Busy! Busy for what?"

"None of your business"

"Why should I even let you go inside the room and see her? You don't even care about her!"

"You know what fine, you get angry at me because I'm not here and when I do show up you don't let me in. I have better things to do"

"If you have better things to do then maybe we'll just take her so she doesn't have to deal with you anymore"

"Fine by me, I never wanted her anyway."

I wanted to jump out of my seat and punch her in the face for saying that. Who says that?
"Good, then you can go. And don't come anywhere near her again, you never deserved to have her as your own" her Aunt says and walks into the room, closing the door behind her. At least Giselle is going to have a good home now.

TWO WEEKS LATER
"It's been two months and she still hasn't woken up, it would be better for everyone including yourself"
"No" I say. The doctor still wants to pull her plug. I'm not letting him.
"This is enough, I'd like to be with my girlfriend now" with that being said the doctor left the room. Some doctor, wanting to kill your own patient.

I wrap my hand around her's. Her skin isn't so cold anymore. Maybe this is a sign.

GISELLE'S POV
I can feel the warmth of Daniel's hand around mine. I could hear what the doctor was saying. I just can't seem to wake up. All I can see is darkness. All I want to see is Daniel. This isn't fair. I'm in so much pain.
"I would never let that doctor do anything to you" I hear Daniel say.
"I love you"
I try and tell him that I love him too but nothing comes out. His grip on my hand tightens slightly
"Squeeze my hand if you can hear me" I try my hardest to do as he says. I have no idea if it's working or not.

ONE DAY LATER

DANIEL'S POV

"Giselle, please. squeeze my hand if you can hear me".
I've been asking her this for a day. nothing has happened. Michelle is here. she's crying a bit.

"please, squeeze my hand"

The grip on my hand tigtens. she's waking up!
"Giselle" i say and move forward in my chair a bit. Michelle comes over next to me.
she slowly opens her eys. "i'll go get a doctor" Michelle says and runs out of the room.
she opens her eyes as much as she can and looks at me.

Doctors then come in and start to crowd her, taking her blood rate, seeing how well she's breathing.
"Daniel"? she whispers
"i'm here, don't worry babe, i'm here. I'm not going anywhere" i say and continue holding her hand.

The doctors end up changing her oxygen mask to oxygen tubes.
when they leave i sit back down with her. "i love you so much" i say.
"i love you too" she wispers and then coughs. Michelle is sitting on the other side of her bed.
"we all missed you so much" she says. Giselle smiles a bit.

After a while Michelle leaves and Giselle and i sit in silence, enjoying eachother's company.
"How do you feel?"
"Hmm. Sore. And tired" she whispers and coughs.
"I know who did this to you" I say
she starts to cry a bit.
"I thought we were family" she says.
"I know, so did I".
After a while she falls asleep and her Aunt comes in.
"Well, I finished moving in all of her stuff" she says and sits down.
"Good, now I know she'll have a good place to go to after she gets out of here"
"Yeah"
I yawn. I didn't realise how exhausted I was until now.
"Hey, you should get some sleep. It's been a long two months for you" her Aunt says.
I prop my arm up on the bedside table and place my head on it, closing my eyes as I almost immediately drift off to sleep. Holding Giselle's hand all the way.
