Morning arrives while the singing of the birds could be heard from the distance. The sunshine then breaks through the windows, also passing through the tenderly blown mesh curtains. As the daylight hits the floor, it illuminates the whole room with a mellow hue. Half of Natalie's face was buried in the pillow while the other half was met by the warmth of the gentle beams, slightly shadowed by the swaying leaves and branches of the tree next to her house. She gave a soft groan, her eyelids squeezing before slowly opening the exposed eye to gaze towards the source of brightness. Natalie gives herself a long stretch as her sleeping cat was curled up next to her, purring.
"Good morning, Nikola..." Natalie strokes her hand against his head.
The thought of last night crossed Natalie's mind and a smile crept on her face. She sits up, making her way off the bed and heads to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

BESTIE
[Yesterday, 9:56pm]
Bestie: Silva, where are ya? Everyone's looking for you. Is Natalie with ya?
Bestie: Hey, Silva, I know it's late but I want to know what ya and Natalie were doing up in the balcony earlier.
Bestie: Ya must be asleep by now, sorry.
Silva: Man, last night was a blast!
Bestie: Yeah it was! Everyone had fun, yeah?
Silva: Sí! Oh! By the way, Natalie loved the roses and Nessie plush I gave her! JAJAJAJAJA!
Bestie: Glad she did!
Silva: She looked great the whole night... I mindlessly called her 'hermosa' but she didn't hear! Phew! That was close!
Bestie: Ya didn't answer my question.
Silva: What question?
Bestie: What were ya and Natalie doing up in the balcony last night?
Silva: Ah, that? Well, I wanted 2 show her the beautiful night sky.
You know how special that place is for me, Che. I go there alone every year and I just felt like bringing her there, you know?
Bestie: Ya only knew her for two days, Silva.
Silva: You think I caught feelings? Pssh...
Bestie: Well? Have ya?
Silva: Okay, maybe a little... She's just so amazing, hermana! You should've seen seen her up there!
Silva: Ugh... Cheee! I'm so hungryyy!
Bestie: Don't tell me ya skipped breakfast again.
Silva: I did... And I regret it... :(
Could you get some take-out for me?
Bestie: Fine, I'll pass by El Toro on the way and order ya two taco diablos. Ya better pay me back, Silva!
