chapter three: shadow

IZUMI POV
two words. rina koako. known for her beautiful electric blue eyes and long blond hair colored with red tips,her skin pale almost as light as snow. she is a queen amongst fools, nobody dare mess with her... though a new villain to the league she is a strong one. Her feisty attitude is enough to put even dabi in his place. Her sarcasm almost always made shiggy chuckle. her quirk which I liked to call "flicker" could change how dark a place is and how the lights are. It made her an amazing stealth villain. The only problem she had with her quirk was when she got too anxious... usually went that happens the place will turn pitch black and the only way for any sort of light to come through is if she does it. when that happens she needs to look at this old photo of her and her mother. She keeps it in her pocket with her and made sure to tell me and toga about it. She said if she forgot it she would spiral so she needed somebody she can trust to know. She was pretty known in the villain community though she never did anything too crazy, when she was first picked for the lov they found her doing many burglaries and sneaking around in place she really shouldn't have. Now that she's apart of the lov she's become sorta like a spy to them. She also very quickly became mine and toga's best friend we were a trio almost like the Charlie's angels. it's hilarious to me that those two are villains because they are just the sweetest, most hilarious little things to me. Though if I'm being honest I think rina-san is more of a vigilante. Most of the crimes she did, were caused by her watching over her victims and noticing how utterly abusive they acted towards others and/or herself. Overall the tall blond was a beauty and one of my newest informants. She was currently on her way to help me find the location of overhaul.

-TIME SKIP TO WHEN SHE GOT HERE-

MY POV
as the duo greeted each other a shocking noise came from their surroundings. The girls decided it would be best to stick together and wait for the person who is clearly stalking them to attack. they didn't want the threat to figure their awareness of them out. Izumi quietly said to follow her lead as they walked and then stopped at a nearby alley. In the alley Izumi texted toga and begged her to pass by where they were before sending their location. Izumi had an idea of who was stalking them and she really wanted some peace, only toga would be able to drag the person she assumed was the stalker without killing them. She then winked at rina, making an almost pure like sound before saying "rina-san you look so~ beautiful!" She finished this off with a wink as she heard rina blush and turn her face away. "well if we're truly complimenting each other here then let me just say your absolutely beautiful, those defined curves and that adorable face, oof you made me question sexualities." Rina said half giggling as Izumi blushed. Then she did the unexpected... she leaned closer to rina collecting their lips. In that moment the person who she knew was stalking them bursted out of the bushes.

listen I might be a little playboy but this seems personal. Plus it hurts my heart a lot.
"alright alright I'll stop..." I said my voice laced with disappointment. "Aww dabi I can't tell if your sad you couldn't kiss Izumi or sad because I almost made out with her in front of you." Said rina in a feisty tone. She looks at me smirking as Izumi just stares at our bickering. I could tell she was trying not to laugh. I roll my eyes and walk over to Izumi, since she was next to the wall I decided I would easily pin her down. I pushed her against the wall and trapped her with both my arms. "hey sunshine can I get a kiss too..?" I ask in a seductive tone as I leaned in. When our faces where about 3 inches away from each other she turned her face, hooked her foot under mine and then reverse kabedoned me. "sorry sugar I don't feel like tasting leather today... try again later." She said in a seductive voice as toga slowly walked up to us with rina by her side. "aww cmon izu don't be such a tease, give the boy a peck at least. God knows you taste like sugars and candies" said a very snarky rina as she and toga stood an audience. they were prepared to watch this and either enjoy the torture or see me in bliss. "okay... but dabi don't fall in love with me after this kiss." She said teasingly as she winked an eye at me. I regret teasing her before. "no promises sunshine." Right after I said that she slammed her lips onto mine, she kissed passionately as I moved one hand to wrap around her waist and another to hold her neck in place. I swiped my tongue over her bottom lip and she immediately opened her mouth. I slid my tongue in and we fought for dominance, after five minutes (which felt like blissful hours) I finally gained dominance and ran my tongue throughout her mouth imprinting the taste and feeling, I rolled our tongues together and she moaned into the kiss. After five more minutes of us gifting for more dominance and intense making out, she pulled away. " *pant* that was *pant* fun dabi... call me?" She said seductively as she panted, trying to catch the breath I took. "of course sunshine" I said as I winked at her. "Ok well this whole hot make out is entertaining but don't we have somewhere to be?" Said a very annoying rina. is rina going to do this every time I flirt with izu. Geez she's almost as protective as shiggy. "right, right, um do you and dabi want to go too?" Izumi said as she turned around to face toga. Toga gave her a crazy blush filled smile and nodded before Izumi looked at me asking me with her eyes. I pretended to think about it so I could spend more time in this position. our bodies were flush against each other, I had my hand wrapped around her waist the other safely tucked into her hair and she had one arm around my neck while the other was laying soundly on my chest. After five minutes of enjoying it, I said yes and she hugged me and toga, she seemed very excited to hang out with both of us. "before it was just going to be the three musketeers but now we are like the spice girls!" (I love the spice girls sorry-) said a very excited Izumi. "I am not a spice girl..! But if I was I would definitely be Mel b" (she's 'scary spice') as I said that I saw Izumi giggling. "You aren't scary spice you would probably be Emma" (baby spice) said a very cocky toned rina. The rest of the idiots laughed and then stopped when they Izumi suddenly turn into a lion. We all stood confused until we heard her hiss and roar to the end of the alleyway. "you always were too quick for me weren't ya' zumi" said a tall feminine figure as she walked closer. Izumi let out a load roar and stood in front of me protectively as she hinted that I block the girls behind me. From the nickname and the way Izumi reacted I'm gonna assume she knows this person well. This is seems to be a personal battle. Izumi's playful and flirty actions in fight were gone. Whoever this person was, she clearly did not believe they were worth saving.

MY POV
Izumi and her opponent knew each other very well. Hell that was ara the villain who helped many other people in izumi's life ruin her. If it wasn't for ara she wouldn't be 'the freak she was now'... ara stood tall at about 5'7 she was ready for whatever Izumi through at her. Or at least she thought. She wasn't ready for Izumi to shift from a lion into a small little Kitty cat.
Ara stood confused but still focused. When she thought Izumi was going to strike she put herself in position to counter it, only to be surprised by Izumi running under her feet and shifting into a lion as she scratched ara's back. Ara was in deep pain as the three big scratch marks bled... Izumi cut her deeply and that wound would bleed out much quicker if she tried to defend herself so she activated her quirk. at the same time Izumi shifted back running to where toga was so she could borrow the girls oversized jacket. Ara and Izumi are polar opposites in everything they did but when they both activated their born quirks everyone could see why. Ara was sparkling as she brought back from the dead one of the worst villains the world had ever dealt with... her father. Izumi on the other hand had a dark halo over her head as her body was surrounded by a black but still absolutely beautiful shine of black and red. It looked beautiful as it swarmed around her body, toga's hoodie slid off her body but instead of being naked like before she was now wearing a tight lace dress and a red riding hood type of hood around her as a scythe formed in her hand. She looked as if she was the angel of death herself. (grim reaper/pesta) ara and Izumi battled and thanks to the help of her friends Izumi had the upper hand. At the moment, ara was seeing two of her dad since toga cut some blood and now looked exactly like him. Dabi had fire surrounding ara as rina played with the lights around them so that Izumi could see clearly around ara and ara could barley see where Izumi maneuvered herself. Everyone had one question in mind: 'what's the limit to Izumi/my quirk...' in the end ara left all of the alone and sent her father back to the dead. She walked away, weak, broken, and sore. "I'll be back when I'm stronger Izumi... you'll pay!" Said a very pissed off ara as she left. Izumi was released until she went back down to the floor, no longer in the air as she used her quirk. Shockingly she was the first to speak "I know you all have questions about what the fuck my quirk really is and how many do I have but you need to let it go for now, trust me..." said a sad Izumi. They had only ever really seen her use the neko quirk. things would get very complicated now...

HEY GUYS ITS AUTHOR~SAMA HERE AND I JUST WANNA SAY HELLO this chapter is 1900 words long (not including the parenthesis or anything I said personally...!) in total it's 1967 words!

quirk unlocked: grim reaper. it gives her the basic powers the grim reaper would have, form this quirk she gets immortality, teleportation, the ability to reap souls. She can manipulate her gender with this quirk. Weaknesses: Death's scythe Angel, blades Spells. If she uses it too much she could potentially become her own victim. This quirk is powerful and not something to joke about.

extras and the origin of grim reaper: Originally the Grim Reaper had no powers, but had good fighting skills and her powerful scythe, which she could project arcs of electricity and sap people's life force. She now has powers of necromancy, teleportation, demon summoning, illusion casting, and clairvoyance. Which means she is a powerful person. This quirk is one of three quirks she is originally born with.

I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT ARA IS AN ORIGINAL CHARACTER I CREATED AND RINA IS AN OC OF ONE OF MY VERY TALENTED FANS! I LOVE YOUU❤️😽

People the trio of girls could be considered: Buffy, Willow, and Xander from the 90's show Buffy the vampire slayer... or hinata, noya, and Tanaka from haikyuu. Some -cough cough dabi- would say they are Regina George, Gretchen Wiener, and Karen smith from mean girls. Etc.
