This book taught me that no amount of regret can change your past.
You shouldn't be trying all the FREAKIN time to change or forget your past. The best way you can deal with it, is to forget it
"some things are better left behind, forgotten"
Holding on to things that make you suffer is a total waste of time, you should just pick up the broken pieces and try to build something new with them.
"When you grow, you should look back and have no regrets."
This is totally true. Who wants to be at their 60's and look back at their childhood or whatever, and say " oh I really regret doing that."
"I should have done this instead"
"what the hell was wrong with me , how could I do something like that?"
"I should have tried."
No one wants to face these kind of questions at their 60's or 50's or whatevs.
So the point is, never , ever let your past decide for you.
