Ace and Luffy sat on the railing chatting while looking out at the vast ocean
"I can definitely eat more than you" Ace stated
"No! I can eat like triple the amount of meat than you can!" Luffy huffed
"Nuh-uh!" Ace retorted
"Yes-uh!" Luffy spoke back
"Nuh-uh!
"Yes-uh!"
"Nuh-uh!"
"Yes-uh!"
"Are they really fighting about who can eat more?" Haruta asked as he sat on Whitebeards armrest, beside Thatch and Marco
"Yep" Thatch said as Marco sighed
"They have way too much energy for their own good" Marco looked at the pair of siblings, who were now fighting about what kind of meat tasted better
"I still wonder how Luffy can walk around like he hadn't just almost bled out to death a day ago" Haruta rubbed his chin
"That is very true, no matter how strong Ace's little brother is in the future, anyone who had almost bled out to death should have some kind of difficulty like, dizziness or feeling tired and weak" Marco stated (I'm not a doctor or have learned medicine in any way shape or form, so don't take my word for these symptoms)
All three commanders looked towards Luffy with curious eyes
"Oh yeah, we're going to stop at an island in about a hour" Marco mentioned
"Aren't we in a rush to get back to Kurosu-Jikan island?" asked Thatch
"We are, we're just stopping by to quickly restock and maybe let the walking black holes explore for a bit" Marco explained
"Isn't Luffy supposed to rest?" Haruta questioned
"The nurses said it should be alright to let him walk around a bit, as long as he doesn't get into trouble, he should be alright" Marco responded
"But, this is Luffy we're talking about" The bread head stated "Our fire brains little brother, the one who trouble is his middle name"
There was silence for a few minutes as the commanders slightly paled and Marco let out a very long and tired sigh
"I'll go with the idiot pair so they don't get into any trouble" Mama Marco spoke out
"Well, good luck babysitting the troublemakers! I'm going to finish my paperwork" the chef waved goodbye as he walked towards the commander's rooms
Marco ignored his urges to sigh again as Haruta also wished him luck and went to do whatever he had to do

"LUFFY! DON'T GO OFF RUNNING! YOU'RE STILL INJURED! AND- ACE! DON'T GO RUNNING OFF EITHER! I- and he's already gone" Marco's eye twitched as his words were completely ignored
Thatch and Haruta were laughing their butts off as they watched the siblings disappear into the forest
"Don't laugh!" Marco screamed at them
"S-sowwy I can't help it" Haruta continued giggling
Marco sighed as he transformed into a phoenix and chased after the brothers

Marco flew for a while until he finally found the brothers by a large tree
They were both propped up against the tree sleeping
Luffy slept on Ace's shoulder while drooling
Ace snored loudly
Marco didn't want to admit it but, the sight was adorable
If Thatch was there, he would have probably been cooing at the brother's sleeping figures
The first commander looked around
There were huge bones in a pile propped up beside what looked to be a burned-out campfire
'They must have gotten hungry while exploring' Pinnaple man thought to himself
Marco picked Luffy up piggyback style and grabbed Ace's arm
He began to carry Luffy back to the ship and, drag Ace back
Ace surprisingly didn't wake up, he probably felt no pain the rocks on the ground went through his body due to being fire
The commander put the brother's in Ace's bed and left so they could get more sleep
Marco watched as the last restocks were carried onto the ship
They set sail once again
