As a little girl , Nala was exposed to the harsh truths of the world early
Abandoned by her parents on a young rogue's doorstep , she was taken in by the man , who was loving and caring of her , despite his spotted past .
The man , who she'll only refer to as J , taught her how to survive on her own , making her become skilled with a knife by the age of eight , and teaching her as much as he could with the help of a few people who owed him favors .
At sixteen , Nala watched as J was arrested for a crime he didn't commit , as he'd stopped his crimes when he took in Nala , and this alone made her swear to get her father figure out of the cell he rots away in
Now 22 , Nala is stronger than ever , and more skilled as well . She travels the world , looking in every prison and jail for her father , rarely stopping for more than a month at a time . She lives off the principles taught to her , and believes these to be the best way to not be hurt by others

3 . Stealing is always okay , just don't get caught
4 . Trust is gained , not a default .
Though unwilling to start interactions , if spoken to , she'll do her best to keep people interested , and will usually gain something from it , whether it be a friend , free drinks , a one night stand , or money , she only seems to gain more and more without any loss on her part .
Maybe the universe is smiling down on her , or maybe she's changing the universe herself , but mess with her , and you'll lose more than just a few silver pieces .
Though maybe being on her side wont be so bad .
