During the interview
Everything was going as expected. The act that they put on was really good. The members of all the three bands came inside and started to actually introduce themselves and talk about the one thing they had in common, music.
Ariana chose to ignore Erick for the rest of the time , even though Erick tried to make an attempt to talk.
They all started to get ready for the performance.first was CNCO , who performed their hits Ya Tú Sabes and Pretend . Then came prettymuch who performed thier own hits - Blind and lying . And then came the moment where the girl band Rare came and performed thier hits - close to me , and Love me like you do (they are actually Ellie Goulding song but for the story lets pretend it's sung by them).
After the performance
The performance ended and all of them came and sat on the couches/ sofa's . Rare in the middle , CNCO on there left and prettymuch on there left . Simple questions like who is the flirt of the group and who is mommy's boy and Daddy's girl in the group were asked , nothing much. But the real goosebumps were felt by Erik and Ariana when the question came about the songs that they wrote for each other . There wasn't much to say cause the members of both the band didn't actually knew about the song being written for them , everyone except Kaycee.
The song Toxicà was actually written by erick , in which he was actually describing his toxic relationship with the school's miss popular , and Ariana's going away from him . As for Ariana she dedicated her song I'm not her (a Clara mae song ) towards erick , based on how he pushed her away and left him when she needed him the most. The host of the interview expected both of them to answer but they both were left speechless, thankfully there band members got there back and explained some of there other songs and not these.
Things don't actually change, it's our way of looking at them is what changes.
What no one expected was the mention of Ariana's boyfriend David. (Go check the chapter 1/ introduction for seeing who he is ). So Ariana and David have been together for about 2 years now. David was actually an actor and a youtuber. Him and Ariana met at the set of a movie , and started as friends which turned into them going out for dates and being in a relationship. None of the members of CNCO knew about this. Erick was expecting Ariana to give him another chance and thought maybe she would still have feelings for him and they would start dating. But all the things took a turn when he came to know about David.
The question was for everyone, it was for them to reveal who was singke and who was in relationship. All the members of CNCO were single. As for prettymuch Brandon was with Maggie for about 2 years and this was thier 3rd year . Austin was dating Ansley for 4 years now and they even welcomed their son Theodore last year. And others were prettymuch single . As for the girls, Ariana was the only one in relationship, and was dating David for about 2 years now. All of them providing fans with couple goals.
Then came the time when the host played a video which had collections of these couples picture, half of them were basically Ariana and David, thier tik tok's and YouTube clips .
This was enough to make Erick sad enough but the show must go on right !?!?! He did what he had done thousands of time before , pretend.
The interview was supposed to end with all 3 bands performing one of thier songs and exiting the stage . Prettymuch and CNCO went together to perform thier single Me Necesita . And exited the stage then came the girls , who performed thier single sweet melody (I know a little mix song , but it's really good.) And after the performance they exited the stage like others.
They all sat backstage talking to eachother and rambling about how tiring the interview was. Ariana said she wasn't feeling to good and went for a drive , but what she really wanted was to avoid Erick as the more she looked at him the more she remembered what had happened in the past .
