Darkness once again engulfed Yoo Jonghyuk as he was sent back to the very first scenario through his stigma.

'Please...please...'

Jonghyuk crossed his fingers, hoping a certain person would come into view after he opens his eyes.

It had already been so long but Yoo Jonghyuk was still not able to forget him. No, he didn't want to forget him.

Forgetting this person would mean losing a part of him.

The memories they shared together, the stories they acquired together, even the tiniest of details about him like his favorite color, his hate for tomatoes and even his favorite side of the bed. He didn't want to forget any of it. He couldn't.

Because that would mean forgetting him.

Being able to meet this certain person again was his only purpose, the only thing that kept him going.

He wanted to hear the sound of his voice. He wanted to feel his soft hands against his own. He wanted to play with his dark, silky hair.

He wanted to be sad with him, to be happy with him, to feel all the emotions he had felt for the first time, all over again, with him.

Everything.

He would give up everything just to turn the clock back to when he was still around. If he was given the chance, every single second left of his life, he would spend with him.

He's tired of people saying bullshit about how there would always be another person out there for him, someone that would mend his broken heart.

Unfortunately, there was no other person who could fill the gap this bastard left in his heart.

Even if there was such a person, he wouldn't dare try to replace him. Jonghyuk refused to feel any emotions towards anyone else.

...

1098 years, 11 months and 30 days.

He had been keeping track of the time he had spent without him. Tomorrow would be the start of the 1099th year without him.

'I miss you...'

'Please...come back.'

Another two text messages were sent not knowing whether the receiver would ever see them but he still tried. Crazy right? Waiting for millenniums just for a reply from someone he'd never see again.

Jonghyuk had already lost his sanity ages ago. I mean, what kind of sane person would keep count every single day for almost two thousand years.

He didn't even remember how many times he had regressed, just to meet him one more time.

He just couldn't live without him. Well he could, but was this really called living? He thought he would be better off dead. But even if he died, he would just regress again.

Back to that same place, the place where they first met.

Over and over, Jonghyuk regressed hoping he would be there waiting for him, only to be disappointed by seeing the lack of his presence.

'Please...this time...'

Jonghyuk slowly opened his eyes.

His irises held no light. Anyone would freeze at the spot after directly looking at him. As if his past self wasn't cold-looking enough.

The same familiar scene greeted his eyes. The start of the first scenario. He didn't have time for it. There was no point.

If he wasn't there.

Yoo Jonghyuk found his way over to where he first met that bastard. He didn't waste time immediately searching for him.

And finally, after almost two thousand fucking years...

Jonghyuk wiped the tears burning in his eyes. His teary eyes locked onto the man infront of him. This bastard finally decided to appear.

"I missed you, Jonghyuk..."

Jonghyuk immediately ran over towards the direction of that familiar voice. His tears still falling from his eyes.

"...Where have you been...you fucking bastard..."

"..."

Jonghyuk said with a rare genuine smile on his face, the first in several centuries. But the man did not reply as if he did not hear anything.

His face showed no reaction even after seeing him again after all these years.

"You... do you not have anything to say after all this time...?"

"..."

The man once again stayed silent.

Jonghyuk tried to grab him but his hands went right through as if he was grabbing air.

"...This...this can't be..."

The man's figure slowly faded away in the wind.

He was just an illusion.

After all these centuries of dying over and over again, it would only be normal for anyone to go crazy. But Jonghyuk refused to believe it. All those painful years of waiting just for this moment, just to see him disappear again.

"...No ...please... don't go."

Only Jonghyuk's muffled cries could be heard.

"Please... don't...

leave me...

...Kim Dokja."
