Harry walked in the small house. Ready to be greeted with a smile or, at the very least, Louis crying. However, it was quiet...too quiet. Harry put down his stuff gently and put his keys on the counter. 'Lou, baby, I'm home,' he walked up the stairs. 'Lou...' he opened the bedroom door, nobody was in the bed. 'Lou?' He walked over to the bathroom and opened the door. 'Louis!!'
On the floor laid his husband. Eyes closed, mouth slightly open. Harry pushed all the bottles out of the way and held Louis in his arms. He was sobbing and he knew there was nothing he could do. He knew he should call 911 but he couldnt. He wasn't ready to face the truth. His husband was dead...and he did it himself. Harry should have seen the signs, he knew that. He began blaming himself, not seeing the letter crumpled on the floor. He grabbed it and sniffed, never letting go of Louis' hand. He read it.
Dear Harry,
Im sorry Haz, but this place just wasn't for me. I've tried for so long to fix this and fit in and feel 'normal'. But nothing worked. SO i came to the conclusion that the world is just full of sin. There wasn't much for me here, I was mostly a waste of space. It's a disgrace. The world i mea And I was just misplaced. I was born in the wrong time and the wrong place. My presence on this earth really wasn't needed anymore. I think it's best if you let the world know I died in vain. I want people to know that the world around me is the one to blame., I
Its Ok though. We'll see each other again and be happier than we were. If that's even possible. Trust me, you'll learn to live without me. The first few months might be difficult., but just hold your pillow tight and remember I'm always beside you. I know in a year, you'll forget about me. You might find someone you know or you'll start making another album.
You weren't just my husband, you were my best friend. I know, this is making you sad, but it had to be done. Just remember that you meant everything to me and to my heart, you're the only one who held the key. Never, ever, blame yourself for what I did. Nobody's to blame, except the world. Yes, I lost my fight, but please stay strong. I love you forever and always.
Love, Louis
