"Z ... Zaynie ... Zaynster ... Zayn", whispered a voice near my ear. I knew that voice. I blinked sleepily and clumsily opened my eyes. I persisted. My head was on Harry's shoulder while his arm was wrapped around me. The butterflies were back. But why? There was nothing unusual about our behavior. We were like that. Since ever.

I felt his chin brush my cheek and he brought his lips back to my ear. "Don't go back to sleep again. Sitting here too stiffly for 3 hours is enough." I blushed furiously. He chuckled. "It's okay, I enjoyed it." He enjoyed it? In what way? I pinched my arm. We had always enjoyed being close to each other. It was normal. I acted like a little kid. My head snapped up abruptly and I sat down straight as a candle. When I caught my mate's confused look, I realized how weird I was acting. I covered up my embarrassment with a laugh. "You stink." It was a poor attempt, but luckily he did not notice it. Harry pouted. "That's not true!" "Yes, it is.", I replied with a grin and poked him in the side. "Take it back!" "Nope." My grin widened.

Suddenly he grabbed my shoulders, pushed me down onto my back and ... started tickling me! I wriggled wildly while we both laughed out loud. Finally I grabbed his hands and held them tight. "Stop it, Haz." He smirked. Then I realized I was still holding his hands and I let go of them immediately as if I'd been burned. Harry eyed me worriedly. "Are you okay?" I gave him a crooked smile. "Sure." Disbelief flickered in his eyes, but I just ran a quick run through my hair and pulled my knees to my chest. "What time is it now?", I asked. He hesitated and still looked at me searchingly. I raised my eyebrows waiting. He sighed and checked his watch. "8 pm." The growling of his mangle underscored this statement. We looked at each other and laughed. "I'm cooking!", I shouted, thereby pre-empting him.

A few moments later we were sitting at the table together, shoveling food into us. I licked my lips. That was good. Harry was just swallowing the last bite of toast and then groaned in satisfaction. It went deep into my bones. "My God, that was urgently needed." I grinned. "Can I spend the night here,", he asked. "You can. But maybe I don't want to.", I said and smirked. The curlyhead rolled his eyes, laughing. "You sassy little bastard!" I widened my eyes. "I won't let you sleep here if you behave like that." "I don't care, I'll stay anyway." I grumbled, offended. "My company is the best, Z!" I snorted. "You wish!" Harry glared at me. "We'll see," he replied flippantly and carried the plates into the kitchen.

Still smiling, I watched him go. Butterflies.
