Meant To Be

Earth - Encounter

Pants. Sweats starting to form but Earth keep running. Why is he running? It's started 30 minutes ago.

Earth was done in his shift as a waiter in a restaurant. The good thing is today is his payday as well, he have money to pay for his twin's tuition as well as the pay for their rent.

He is on the way home when some men come up around behind him, blocking his way forward.

Earth look around him but unluckily, it's pretty late so there's only a few people around.

When one of the guy tried to grab his bag, he duck and run.

Earth run in alley and cross the street when he see a guy just enter a car, he run to it and open the passenger seat.

He sat and talk as fast as he can to explain his situation, "I'm sorry. I badly need your help, some guys trying to rob me. I badly need my salary to continue living. I know its bad to involve you but please help me".

Earth turn to the driver and mesmerize. The guy is seriously looking at him, void of emotion, dark eyes meet his brown ones. The stranger look at rear mirror before starting the engine.

Relief washes Earth's being when the car move. Tears starting to fall from his eyes, "Where do you live?" he heard the handsome driver asks.

He can see the bus station and turn to the driver.

With tears in his eyes, he smile. "You can stop at the bus station. Thank you, mister", he curiously asks while wiping the tears.

The stranger who helped him, look at him seriously before saying "Kao".

Earth just bow a little with clasp hand,  " I'm sorry for suddenly riding your car but thank you so much,  P'Kao", then he's about to get out of the car but a hand stops him.

Earth look back and found Kao's hand on his arms, "Here" then a black handkerchief appear in front of him.

He smile and whisper "thank you" then go out of the car and run towards the bus.

Earth got home safetly, it's been two weeks since that scary, impulsive action that he made. Getting in to someone's car to escape. He told that story to his twin and to his bestfriend.

Fluke, his twin cried after hearing that. He just hush his twin and assure him that his fine and felt lucky meeting Kao. The handsome yet serious guy who help him. Smiling when he put his hand on his pocket. In it, is the black handkerchief that the guy lend him.

Hoping that they will cross their path again so he can thank him properly and  return the handkerchief.

Earth feel something in him everytime he remember the dark piercing eyes  and face. He looks so dangerous yet so sexy. Earth feels blood on his face. He cursed himself thinking that way.

He, once touch the handkerchief in his pocket and smile. Starting his busy day at the restaurant.
