The morning after the news about Mike and Jess had dropped was tense, Dom had slept on the sofa last night and no one had spoken to him properly since

So I decided to go and sit with him at the smoking lounge "Hi,"
"Hey," He sighed
"I would ask if you're okay but you probably don't want to answer," I said "And honestly I don't know how I feel about it either,"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, on one hand I'm disappointed in them, on another I'm glad they're trying, but then I'm also shocked they would do that," I sighed "It's all just so confusing right now,"
"I don't even know what to do," Dom nodded "I don't know if it's worth staying and trying to move on since she has or if I should just go,"
"Whatever you do, I support it," I said "And you know I'm always here for you though,"
Dom smiled "I think out of anyone you're the only person I want to talk to, you're the only one who was close to both of them and it's better to talk to you than to hear the pity from the others,"
"I've always got your back," I grinned
"Me too," He laughed and looked behind me "What's going on up there?" I turned around and followed his gaze to one of the day beds where Sam and Tyla were chatting
"I don't know," I shrugged but something was twisting at my heart as I saw them together
The entire day was really uneventful aside from that though, so I was relieved to be saved from that boring day by finally getting into bed with Sam again
