No-one's POV

Its been 5 years since the hero of the village Maeko Y. Inuzuka was found by her aunt, Tsume Inuzuka.
Maeko due to the fusion of her soul with that of the Mind goddess Khione and the Juubi made her have wolf-like ears and tail.
Maeko trains with the Inuzuka clan and the Yamanaka Clan head, Inoichi.
Due to her parents being Kana Inuzuka the Inuzuka clan heads younger sister and Foo Yamanaka the Yamanaka Clan heads younger brother, Maeko receives respect from the both Clans also because she has the Mind goddess Khione and the Juubi which are revered by both clans and her cousins Hana Inuzuka, Kiba Inuzuka, Seira Inuzuka, Snow Inuzuka, Ino Yamanaka, Inosuke Yamanaka, Kimi Yamanaka and Inaba Yamanaka love her so much but many people in Konoha want her dead just like her family wants her alive.

Maeko's POV

Today was the day that all young brats (Aunt Tsume's words not mine) get their Ninken or Hounds and I can't wait. Kiba-Nii and I love playing with Hana-Nee's dogs the three Haimaru brothers but we always wanted our own Ninken.
'Mine will be so cute and cuddly that Ino-Nee will be so jealous' I thought as I started running but fell after I bumped into someone and when I turned back it was Kiba-Nii
"Yo Kiba-Nii watch where you stand little wolves like me love running" I said and grinned showing my sharp canines.
Ya ya I have pointed canines which are longer and sharper than the Inuzuka's but that's not all I also have a furry tail and wolf ears and sharp nails which I'll call claws.
"Sorry Mae-Chan need a hand" he asked grinning and showing a blunter set of canines
"Yes duh" I said puffing out my cheeks while he lifted me up
"So where were you running off to" he said while I gasped
"Don't tell me you forgot" I said narrowing my pale blue Yamanaka like eyes at him
"Forgot what Mae-Chan" he asked looking genuinely confused while I gasped looking at my darling cousin with concern
"Kiba-Nii did you hit your head or something" I asked him
"Mae-Chan what exactly is happening" he asked while I screamed and ran away with my hands flaying wildly in the air while shouting something along the lines of Kiba-Nii has a problem he is sick sick I tell ya

Minutes later

I finally calmed down as Kiba-Nii came along with Snow and Seira our other cousins.
Snow has very light brown hair almost like mine but she also has white highlights and the normal slitted Inuzuka eyes. Snow is 6 same as Kiba-Nii.
Seira has very dark chestnut brown hair and the normal slitted Inuzuka eyes. Seira is 7 and already has her ninken he is a black pup and his name is Obsidian.
"Mae-Chan what happened back there" Kiba-Nii asked me
"Snow-Chan can you believe Kiba-Nii totally forgot the best day in our lives" I asked Snow
"Mae-Chan what's that" Snow asked looking genuinely confused while I fell down faking a faint while Seira chuckled and I narrowed my eyes at her
"What are you chuckling at" I asked her with sass in my tone while Kiba-Nii and Snow were thinking of possible reasons as to why I was making a big deal
"The Pup picking ceremony which you somehow forgot" Seira said and I nodded and picked myself up from the ground while looking at Kiba-Nii and Snow who had sheepish looks on their faces
"Sorry we forgot Mae-Chan" Kiba-Nii said while Snow nodded with a force that I was sure she could break her neck
"Now I think you guys should get going or you'll be late" Seira said and we all ran towards the puppy den in hopes our pup will find us.

On getting there I saw many guys gathered around a den and then I felt a blind fold on me before I could protest
"Alright listen up brats this here blindfold is ta prevent you from taking another brats pup so that means no peeking. Don't be sad if ya don't get ya pup today anyways to find ya perfect pup ya have to feel a pull in your heart and it'll take you to ya perfect pup now start" I didn't need a name to know Tsume-Obaa-Sama was talking so once she said start I began to feel in my heart for that pull and minutes went by I didn't feel it and before I knew the blindfold was taken up and I was swept into a hug by Tsume-Obaa-Sama
"Sorry brat 5 I'm sure you'll get your own pup" she said as I looked around and saw Kiba-Nii with a small white and brown pup while I also saw Snow-Chan with a white pup.
Seeing me both came up to me

"Sorry Mae-Chan" Kiba-Nii said to me
"Nah it's okay lemme meet your pups" I said because I didn't wanna worry them while Snow brought hers first
"This is Snowflake because she has a cute lil mark around her eye and it looks like a Snowflake" she said while Snowflake tried to catch my tail
"And this is Akamaru because when I give him the red pill he turns red" Kiba-Nii said while Akamaru joined Snowflake to try and catch my tail
"Hey Mae you'll get'ya pup soon kay" Kiba-Nii said while I nodded
"Kay" I said as we walked back to the house together

Next Day

I woke up again happy to get my own pup so I dressed up wearing custom made brown pants for my tail with a mesh shirt under and a white hoodie with the hood lined in fur and black shinobi sandals.
I ran out going towards the den again forfeiting breakfast so I can be early.
Standing in line I felt a blindfold go over my eyes as my other senses became sharpened and I started using sensory.
Tsume-Obaa-Sama gave the speech again today and when she said we can start I focused again and I'm sure an hour must have gone by before Tsume-Obaa-Sama came over to me and told me that all the pups are gone but I can come by tomorrow while I not wanting her to worry about me ran to the Yamanaka Clan Compound to meet Ino-Nee.

Ino's POV

I saw as Mae ran into the compound looking like she wanted to cry and my big sister instincts kicked in.
"Mae-Chan what happened" I said rushing over to the crying wolf girl
"I-I-I d-didn't g-get m-my p-pu-pup" she stuttered out crying into my shoulder
"What will happen when you don't get your puppy Mae-Chan" I asked her
"Y-Ya no-not a r-re-real p-pack me-member" she said and started crying again
"Don't worry Mae-Chan you'll get your perfect puppy" I said in hopes to get the wolfy girls spirits high
"Y-Ya th-think s-so I-Ino-Nee" she asked with big puppy dog eyes
"Sure and it'll be the cutest most cuddly pup ever" I told her
"Thanks" she said before drifting off to sleep

Hours Later

After waking Mae-Chan up for a meal of raw steak she promptly fell back asleep
Right now I'm getting flowers from the garden to start my flower crown tutorial when I heard a bark and saw Seira along with Obsidian
"Hey Seira-San and hello to you too Obsidian" I said scratching Obsidian behind his ear
"I'm here for Maeko" Seira said
"I'll get her Seira-San" I said and ran to my room to get a certain sleeping wolf who yawned and went out rolling on the stairs before walking out and collapsed in Seira's arms falling asleep again
"Thank you Ino-San" she said while Obsidian followed her wagging his tail all the way to the Inuzuka Clan Compound

Next Next Day

Maeko's POV

I woke up satisfied as I walked downstairs to have breakfast after taking a short shower. Greeting Hana-Nee and Kiba-Nii, I sat down to have a meal of Tamagoyaki and Chicken Teriyaki.
