"Come on! One more before it's time!"

You smiled down weakly at your wife laying down on the hospital bed.

"Come on, y/n. Please..."

Nodding, you pulled out your phone and opened your camera before pressing record.

"Is it going?"

"Mhm."

"Okay. Hi, y/n. It's me, Chaeyoung. I just want to start out by saying that I love you. Ever since you came up to me at that bar and said that cheesy pickup line to me, I knew that you were going to be the one I would love for the rest of my life. I knew that you would be the one to make me happy. I knew you were going to be the one who would support me no matter what I was going through, and you did just that. When I got diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago, you didn't leave. You stayed and helped me through. I was scared, and you reassured me that I was going to be okay. I will always love you for being by my side and carrying me in your arms the entire way. This is the final stage of fighting for me. I thank you for helping me get here. I could not have fought to have a happy life without you here with me. I love you."

With shaky hands, you stopped the recording and went to Chaeyoung's side.

"Are you guys ready?"

"I think I am, Doc," Chaeyoung said.

Chaeyoung's doctor inserted a needle into her arm and released the drug that would make today her last day.

"I'll leave you two alone," the doctor said before exiting the room.

"Come on."

"What?"

"Take me to the window. I want to see the sunset."

You picked up her frail body as you went to sit in a chair by the window.

"It's so beautiful."

"It is."

"I'm glad I get to spend my last one with you."

"I love you."

"I love you."

"I'm not ready for you to go."

"I know, but I'll always be with you. I will always keep you in my heart, so that you never have to lose me, and so I don't have to lose you."

"Chaeyoung..."

"Count...with me. Count to 3 with me."

"Why?"

"Just count."

"One."

"One..."

"Two."

"Two..."

"Three."
