Secret II

The next week Nia is sitting in her office completing some work. She looks over at the picture on her desk. It's a picture of her and Randy.

It was the day they met. She remembers it vividly.

That day she was sitting in a booth at Brina's, a diner, down the street from her apartment. It was raining heavily that day. She looks out the window and she sees a man run in. She turns toward the door to see what he looked like. She silently gasped at the sight of him. He had broad shoulders, a nicely trimmed beard, muscles, and an all around bad boy attitude.

For a second she thought she was dreaming. When he walked to her booth and sat across from her, she realized that this was reality. Breaking out of the trance, she spoke to him.

"Hi, I'm Lina, but people call me Nia," she spoke.

"I'm Randy. What's a beauty like you doing here all alone," he replied smiling.

"I'm just having my evening coffee at my favorite place. It's great coffee you should have some," she said.

"I think I'll take you up on that. So, tell me about yourself," he spoke.

"I'm Samoan and German. I was born in Australia and we moved to California where I grew up. I have a degree in business, and I used to model, but I'm currently pursuing a career in interior design," Nia explained.

"I'm honored to be in the presence of a such a successful woman," Randy responded.

"So, mystery man, tell me about yourself," she replied.

"Well I'm CEO of my own company. I'm sure you may have heard of  Knix Tech once or twice. I'm originally from Tennessee. I too have a degree in business," he said.

"Impressive,but tell me why a man who owns such a big business here with me when he could be with anyone else," Lina asked.

"I honestly don't know,but I what I do know is that you caught my eye, and I can't help but to be drawn to you," Randy answered.

Secret is going to be made into its own book! These 2 parts will be in it.
