11. Love and Despair

Chapter 23: Nature Preserve

Insey and Gary are still in the Unova Region, with Trip, Paul and Professor Sycamore still following them from behind. Insey says, "How are they still following us?"

"I don't know. We already told us our plan, and we are going to find our last gem, the Grass Gem, which is also in the Unova Region." Gary says.

Insey sighs as they continue to walk, and at the same time, the three people are behind them as Paul asks, "Do you think they are telling the truth? About the gems?"

Professor Sycamore says, "I don't think there is a reason why they lie to us. Maybe their anger is calming down and they might want to fix their errors."

"But still, why do they think that it will be easy to fix any damage they have caused for us?" Trip asks, "I mean...do you think we would forget about what happened?"

"I don't know, that is why we have to follow them." Professor Sycamore says as they continue to walk behind them.

Just then, Insey's phone ring and then she stops her feet along with Gary. "Brother has called us. I wonder why..."

As she takes the phone, Ash says, "Insey, how are you doing?"

"Hey, brother. We already got the Bug Gem and the Flying Gem. What about you?" Insey asks.

"We have the Electric Gem and Ice Gem. It seems like all of us already have two gems each." Ash says, "But we have some strange things happening to us, that's for sure..."

"What do you mean by that?" Insey asks, and then they hear a sound, "Mama, how far are we going to get there..."

"We will be there soon, Saphira." Gary and Insey are confused and Insey asks, "What is that sound?"

Ash says, "As you can see, when we found the Electric Gem, it somehow uses the powers to fuse mine and Serena's aura, making us a daughter."

"What? A daughter? You and Serena?" Gary asks in surprise. "Things sure escalated really fast."

Ash glares at Gary and says, "This is not time for jokes, Gary. What about you guys?"

"We have three people who are stalking us." Insey says, "They are Paul, Trip and Professor Sycamore."

"Those three, huh?" Ash says with a frown, "Have you tried to get rid of them?"

"We did, and we even told them our plan in order to shake them off." Insey says, much to Ash's surprise. "You told them our plan? How do you know you can trust them?"

Gary says, "We have to do it, or else we won't be able to escape them."

"You're lucky that they aren't one of the traitors." Ash says, "We just met them and I finally got my Pokemon back, but there are only 11 of them left..."

"I am sorry to hear that, but at least they won't be able to use your Pokemon to make them immortal, right?" Insey asks, and Ash nods. "Anything else from our other siblings?"

Ash says, "Apparently, Minami has Alain accompany her to find the Normal and Psychic Gems."

This causes them to get surprised, "Alain? You mean...since when did he join Team Alpha? And more importantly, why is Minami offering him to be with her? Knowing her, she would have killed Alain when she saw him."

"We noticed that Minami might have some feelings for him, and I agreed to let him join in the team." Ash says as they nod.

"Okay, now we are just going to find the last Gem." Insey notices the three are still behind them, and Insey says, "If you are not going to help us out, why bothering following us?"
