Despite being the only son to a kind and successful earl, Kiefer Wyndell becomes known throughout the Capital as a rakish pain in the ass. Deemed unfit to take on the duties of a competent heir, the boy is sent off to a rural town with only a very small amount of bills and a stack of simple clothes: Condemned to live with a family acquaintance for the whole summer, in the hopes that they'd mold him into a fine gentleman.
