Thirteen - A Day Apart

Ariana's POV

I walk downstairs yawning. Dalton sees me and he smiles, I smile at him lazily.

"Good morning sleepy head, you slept well." He laughs looking at my state.

"Good morning, my legs hurt, my back hurts, and I'm very tired." I say stretching a bit.

"Yeah, we went rough last night and we slept pretty late." He smiles again helping to the kitchen.

"How come your not so tired?" I ask making myself some coffee.

"I had a healthy breakfast and also I had coffee." He says kissing my cheek before picking up his suitcase.

"I'll be back later." He gives me a little peck on my lips before leaving.

"Well now what do I do?" I ask my self. I finish my coffee and go upstairs to get dressed. Maybe I could go shopping with Courtney and Victoria.

"We're here bitch!" As if they read my mind, they both kicked open my door and came in my house uninvited.

"You knock next time." I say grabbing my purse.

"Where's the fun in that? So, where are we going?" Courtney asks.

"We are going shopping but we have to stop at Starbucks first cuz I'm really thirsty." I say opening the door to my car.

We stop at Starbucks and each of us order our drinks. After we get the drink, we drive to the mall.

Dalton's POV

"That is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life." My eyes beam and I look at it basically drooling over it.

"Dalton that is picture of Ariana in a bikini." Chase says rolling his eyes.

"I know and it's literal perfection." I say kissing all over the picture.

"I need to throw up!" He fake gags and I roll my eyes at him playfully, smiling.

"Have you had one day without Ariana?" He laughs and I actually think about it.

I haven't been apart from Ariana since the day we started dating. Yes I go to work but I always come back a little to visit her and then go back again. Chase notices my face and his smile drops.

"Are you serious? You haven't had one full day without Ariana?!" He asks shocked, I nod rubbing my neck.

"Oh my god!" He face palms himself.

My phone vibrates and I take it out. I got an email. I read it and my face drops.

"What is it?" Chase asks noticing my face change.

"My boss wants me to stay here all day. He has some important work for me." I say reading through the email again.

"But then you won't be able to see Ariana, right?" He says and I jolt up.

"How am I gonna survive the WHOLE DAY?!" I shout. Chase raises his eyebrow at me.

"I think you're gonna be just fine." He says with a smile. I nod trying not to think about. Maybe if I hurry up and do them I can be down earlier.

I run to do my work leaving Chase in my office alone.

Ariana's POV

"Oh hell no!" I say trying to run away but Victoria had a grip on me.

"Come on Ari, it's gonna be fun! You love these things." Courtney says with smile.

"I do love haunted house and escape rooms but this one is dark as hell and you know I'm scared of the dark. I'm getting out of here!" I try to run away again but Victoria still has that grip on my arm.
