I believe music brings out the very best in people. Not only the best as in the best moments of our lives, but the worst ones too. It touches our soul in moments of real bliss but also helps in moments of extreme vulnerability. There are times we feel alone, or feel that no one fully understands, or everything around us has gotten too loud and we need some time alone. It's during these times, and especially in the times we are living right now that we run to music to grab some comfort. Music has become a friend. An old friend that always has open arms for a hug, an open door making it more than a house; a home. A shoulder to cry upon and a blanket to keep us warm. Sometimes, it is hard to express what we feel successfully solely through words and music may help, this is why I made this playlist.
This playlist includes magical pieces that personally took me on journeys when everything felt broken and I thought I was perishing. In my opinion, they have the exact lyrics, melodies and harmonies I wanted to convey in this story. The vibe becomes real and I feel that I cannot fully portray the mood and tone for this novelette if some songs weren't part of this.
