Bey Club Playing (Horror) Video Games (Pt.3)

(I tried a new style of writing which I really like, so I'm gonna use it from now on.)

~~~Warning - Violence, Death, Guns, Spoilers for "Duck Season (PC version)~~~

{Third person POV}

Wakiya was finished with explaining "Ok. Since now Rantaro knows how the game works, why won't he play it."

Rantaro sighed. He didn't want to go first, but he doesn't want to say no to Wakiya so he had no other choice that agree "Sure why not. You guys fine with that?" he asked the other 2 boys siting on the couch and both of them agreed "Well I guess here we go..."

He started up the game and was greeted with the menu screen. He started a new game and selected medium mode. After that he was greeted with a little cut seen where you can see the boy (David) laying on the couch in the living room waiting for his mother to arrive from the store. Wen the boy's mother come in the house she asked for the boy to help carry the groceries. David saw that her mother got him a game called "Duck Season". David's mother said that it's a one day rental, so he better make the most of it. The cut seen ends with the boy going to the TV and opening up his new game. After that he is control of the body. He is the living room with a zapper gun in his right arm.

Rantaro walks over to the TV. The game was already inserted so he just started it up. Wen the TV was on, there was a totorial about how the game worked. The round one of the game started and he was in a place by a river and there was a dog cheering him up whenever he shot one of the ducks. He played it for all of the 3 round and after that there was a little ad on the TV showing the game.

He played the game for 4 levels, but after he had finished the 4'th level David's mother asked if he has seen the kitchen knife. Rantaro moved on and continued playing the for 2 more rounds. After that the new's started playing which said that the mystery of several missing families keeps growing. After that he just continued plying the game for another level, but after that the TV showed a live video of him in his living room. The video was taken from the backyard so he looked out the window and saw that the dog from that video game was filming him. When the dog saw that he was watching him he ran off.

Rantaro turned to Wakiya and said "That dog look's weird and a bit creepy...."

"Well duh. That's the point of the game so just keep playing."

He played another level until Dave's mother said that it's time for bed. There was another cut seen where he goes to sleep and his mother says that she will rent another day for the game since he liked it so much, but then she also said that she would have shoot that dog.

In the next morning there's another cut seen in which David goes to play the game again. This time wen he played he took the mothers advice and shot the dog but nothing happened. After 6 more rounds of playing the game there was a another new's broadcast on the TV which said that the police is asking the public for help in solving the mystery of the missing families.

After he completed level 7, there once again was the dog filming him from his backyard, but since this was the second time this happened Rantaro wasn't surprised like the first time, so he just played the next level.

When he was finished with level 8, he turned to the kitchen and saw that the lights where turned off, so he couldn't see anything, so he turned back to the TV, but once he turned back to the kitchen the light turned back on and he was greeted with a horrifying sight of the mother laying dead by the fridge and her blood splatter on the fridge door and the floor.

"That looks really messed up... and horrifying" Rantaro thought to himself and shivered. He looked at his friends, and could see that they where expecting that and also Rantaro's reaction to seeing it for the first time. Wakiya turned to face Rantaro and their shared an eye contact for a second, but Rantaro quickly turned back to the game screen as his checks started turn in a reddish color.

He looked back to the TV screen from that sight, but instead of the games regular "start playing" button there was a button called "Come face me" and also the background was glitched out. Rantaro clicked on the "Come face me" button and was brought to the usual place where he hunted ducks, but instead of the shining day look everything was darker. Literally! It looked like it was a night, but the sky was bloody red and the water in the river was so black you couldn't even see it. It just looked like a black endless void. On the right side of the screen you could see the player's and the dog's life pull. This was like a boss battle, but just more deadlier.

~~~Time skip to when he defeated the dog~~~

When he defeated the dog he could hear faint voices of a boy shouting in excitement "Get them!" and "Duck season!". And a woman saying "I don't know about this", but then he realized that these where voices from the Duck season ad that played in the start of the game. As the voices become more louder he picked up a flashlight which was "randomly" laying on the ground. The voices grew louder and louder, but then just stopped, but then the dog from the game and which was filming him in the backyard at 7 pm come out of a door and threw a knife at you.

After he died there was another cut seen which started with the word's "Death ending" on it. After that he looked down to the living room from above with the dog which was covered in David's blood and David's dead body. The dog took the zapper gun which was fallen to the floor now, but then the dog looked up at the place where he was viewing him and waved goodbye. Then the dog turned to the TV and shocked himself with the zapper gun, but instead of dropping dead he just disappeared. The screen turned and started playing the ending roles.

Rantaro turned to his friend and Wakiya asked him "So what do you think of the game?"

"Well one moment I'm shooting ducks while a creepy dog cheers me up and spy's on me for an hour and the next moment that dog kills me. So yea a very interesting experience." Rantaro said back with a hint of sarcasm.

Both of the started fighting again, but Daigo intervened saying "You both fight like a old married couple all the time"

"No we don't!" Both of them shouted in synic

"I think we should go to sleep it's already 11 pm" Shu suggested

"I agree. Both of you can solve this tomorrow." said Daigo and walked to sleep with Shu following him.

A/N

I wrote half of this chapter in the middle of the night and the next half the next day. I was a bit hard to wrote the gameplay, but I tried my best. I also didn't wrote the dog fighting part because the chapter was starting to get pretty long and the fight itself was quite wierd, but you can watch it right here and also the whole gameplay - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7236rNVvV0
