It was cold, Jermall's fox ears moved not trusting anything around him. It's been a while since he found love after his girlfriend died do too a car crash. He haven't talked to anyone but his friends. His only girl bestfriend was always busy after she kissed him under the slide in the park he didn't think much of it " what if it was a dream? What if skyla didn't kiss me what if...." He didn't wanna think about anymore it was making his head hurt. He throws him self on his bed when his phone buzz. He told no one to text him during 3-5 pm. Jermall groans and picked up his phone too quickly drop it on the floor. "Oh fuck." He panicked around the room. " She texted hi what do I do what do I do?!?!" He stopped "what the fuck that's your best friend it's ok too text back or call......." He picked up his phone and texted sky back
'hello what do u want it's 3:57 no one should text me not even you'
He felt proud of himself for texting her that. He laid back down and waited for a reply that never came. He tried not to get upset with her but with himself for texting back . He waited for hours and not reply. Jermall showered after 3 hours of waiting for her "Skyla u ..... Ding ding, u apple head what was it?!" He never called her out of her name cause that was his best friend . So he called her food names he got ready for bed laying down on his bed looking at the window when his phone buzzed the only words he was was "CALL ME NOW I GOT NEWS!" He smiled cuz his bestfriend was happy so he called she picked up within the first ring
"EEEEEE"
"What's up? What's important today?"
She looks at her hoodie and sweatpants for a while
"Oh yea I am gonna get a boyfriend EEEEEEEEEEEE"
Jermall's heart sunk and said nothing after a while not getting jealous well trying not to.
"Oh that's cool sky"he said coldly
She heard his tone already knowing what was wrong.
"It's ok jermall I won't get hurt I'm a brave woman no need to worry about me jermall take some breaths in and out for me ok we will do it together ...."
Jermall did as she asked him to sky was Gracie's bestfriend first so she knew how too handle them both from the back of her hand. He looks at his bed then at the time
" Just make sure her don't hurt you "
There was a laugh on the other end of the phone from Skyla
" I'm not letting no man hurt me or I will cut his balls off glue it too his head and call him a unicorn.."
Jermall looked at his walls with big eyes slowly covering his balls
"Sky I get it stop ur scaring my balls"
She was really quite for a while Jermall though she went to sleep but she started talking
"Any ways wanna go too the park u dork?"
"SKY ITS 1:53 IN THE MORNING!"
She looked at the time
"So you need it come on get up"
He sighed softly getting ready. He put on his jogging suit and shoes ' why? Don't she have anything better too do at 1:53 am whyyyyyy' he picked up his phone
"On the way"
He walked outside too the park and of course Skyla was right by the gate he waved at her she looks at him and looked away. He walked closer too her with his eyebrows raised and his ears poking out
"Sky what you need?"
She just stood there not saying a word too him. His ears went down
"Sky lady talk to me"
She looked at him and huffed. He looks at her rolling his eyes
"What you think I forget your stuff?"
She nods as he slowly handed it too he hugging her tightly . She hugged back taking it from him and popping it in her mouth .He smiles making his bestfriend happy. They spent the whole night talking and laughing about random stuff while laying in the grass. Skyla popped her vape pin back in her mouth. Jermall looked over at her with a small smile. She looked him in the eyes "what?" He looks away " nothing I was just looking at how pretty you are" She looked at him "what type of crack or weed did u do before you came too me buddy?" He thought about it. She sat up looking at him taking her vape pen out of her mouth "u need rest go home" she gets up too leave, he pulled her back down to the grass and tickled her , she laughed alot he smiled hopping she forgotten about what he said too her. She looks at him and get up"let's call it a night ok" he nods taking her home she watches him leave after. She smiled to only see him run back she tried to run inside. He pulled her back and kissed her softly. She closed he eyes letting him kiss her. She pulled way blushing " bye jermall" she walked inside And close the door. He when home and rested
