(Y/N) POV:

"Kill! Killua! Wake up! We need to go now!" I shake the white haired, sleeping boy, laying on the couch awake. His bright blue eyes meet mine for a minute with anger, but soften when he sees that it's just me. "(Y/n)? What's going on?" Killua asked, then he let out a massive yawn and rubbed his blue cat like eyes. He was about to go back to sleep before his eyes locked on the fresh looking bruise forming on my right cheek. He lifted his hand, grabbed my chin and yanked it towards him forcing me to look at him, while he inspected it. He gently stroked around the bruise.

His bright blue eyes narrowed into slits, and his tired demeanor completely disappeared. "What the hell happened?" He asked in a dead serious tone. I swallowed the lump forming in my bone dry throat, and tried with all my might not to cry in front of the young boy who I thought of as my own son, while I began my explanation. "I ended things with Illumi." A single tear escapes my watery eyes, sliding down my face. I quickly wipe it away, not wanting to seem weak in front of the young boy.

"Did he do this?" The rage that filled his eyes at the thought of his brother hurting me made my nervous body relax a little. Only 12 years old, and he was already so caring despite his horrible upbringing. "No. It wasn't him" I say grabbing his hand, and giving it a small squeeze pulling him to his feet. "Now if you still wanted to take the Hunters exam we have to go now." I try to hurry the pre teen along, as I hear the sound of multiple feet running towards the dark living room.

"Kill I'm so proud of you my love! You have caught (Y/n)! You're such a good boy, and already beginning to turn out to be a great assassin!" His mother Kikyo purrs with glee, clapping her hands together. We looked over to see she was with his older brother Milluki, luckily Illumi was nowhere to be found.

Illumi really was the spitting image as his mother, they both had long raven black hair, emotionless eyes, and very slender builds. His sister Alluka, and youngest brother Kalluto, also have their mother pin straight raven black hair. Killua looks like the spitting image of their father Silva, with his silvery white hair, and blue eyes. He is destined to be the next leader of the Zoldyck family business. He has been trained since the age of 2 to become an assassin, something that I as his nanny, have always hated for him.

The last of the 5 Zoldyck children was the one who I swear had to be adopted, Milluki. Not only was he a winy 17 year old, but with short black hair that had always been parted in the middle of his head and black squinty eyes, he looked nothing like the rest of the family. He was obese, while every one else in the house hold had been slim, and toned, stronger than anyone would ever appeared them to be.

Kill slides his arms around my shaking figure glaring at his mother, and his older brother. "What do you mean caught?" His mother laughed without humor in her tone. "Killua, (Y/n) disrespected our family name, I don't know how she escaped the dungeon, but clearly she enjoys her punishments."

"She's not going with any of you" he snarled, then looked up to see an emotion on my face he's never seen my wear before. Fear. "What the fuck did you do to (Y/n)?" "Kill step away from that tramp, this situation no longer concerns you. She needs to finish being punished" Milluki cackled.

Kikyo started to walk towards us, reaching out with her claw like red fingernails, to take me back to the prison cell they had been keeping me in for the last week, without Kill's knowledge. I braced myself knowing that if he didn't comply with them he'd be punished, which I couldn't let happen to him and begin to let him go saying my goodbye.

Within seconds, Kill had pulled out of his pocket a small knife, and stabbed his mother in her eye, and then his brother in the side of his body. "(Y/n) let's go!" he shouted, grabbing my arm to shake away my shock. As we ran out of the mansion I told Kill, how thankful I was for him rescuing me, promising I'd tell him everything once we were safe. Once we entered the forest on their property I whistled out to Mike, who came running towards us.
