Chapter 5

Yay I’m back

Finally uploaded a Chapter bit short though

Kaylee POV

‘Look I’m sorry yeah, I just have a lot on my mind right now and I don’t need to be babysitting you today I just don’t need it okay’

‘I’m sorry okay, I didn’t realise, care to tell me what’s up’

‘Yeah sure like I’m going to tell a total stranger what’s up, I don’t think so’ I reply

‘Okay sorry just thought you might feel better if you let it all out, I’m guessing it’s about the time I saw you crying’

‘Look yeah I don’t need your pity, I don’t need to talk anything through I’m absolutely fine and that day at the coffee shop was a one off, let’s get going so I can show you around and get this over with, so we don’t have to be in each other’s company again’

‘Okay then, I don’t see why you dislike me so much you don’t know me’

‘Yeah well I don’t plan to let’s move’

We walk pass the classrooms and I show him where every subject is, toilets etc and all the necessary areas of the school

‘That’s about it, now you can leave me alone and get to your class’ I say ready to walk off

‘Kaylee’

‘What’ I say frustrated

‘Whatever people have done to you, I’m sorry you don’t deserve that’

Surprise registers on my face

‘So I’ll see you round then. Thanks for showing me round’ he continues

‘Wait how do you know that I don’t deserve it, you don’t know me’

‘From what I saw at the coffee shop and today it’s pretty traumatic, no one deserves that’ he says looking pitiful

‘Yeah whatever, I told you I don’t need your pity’

Who does he think he is telling me that I don’t deserve he doesn’t know what I did, he doesn’t understand that I deserve all this pain. I’m a bad person. Barely containing my tears I run to the toilets and shut myself in one of the cubicles, crying my heart out.

I arrive to class a few minutes late. Great I can’t sit by myself away from everyone. Just my luck there is one seat next to him. Julian. I really don’t need this. I reluctantly occupy the seat next to him pretending not to notice him

‘Hey Kaylee are you alright, you’re eyes are looking a bit red. Have you been crying?’

‘Look leave me alone okay’ I whisper

‘I think you should really talk to someone’

This boy is really getting on my last nerve, what is wrong with him

‘LOOK YEAH I TOLD YOU LEAVE ME ALONE’

‘Miss Johnson, I will not have that kind of behaviour in my class!’ the teacher yells

‘Whatever I’m out of here’ and with that I run, run as far as my legs take and end up back at their graves. I kneel down broken.

‘I can’t go on without you guys I need you all and I miss you, people tell me that it will get easier each day but each day only gets harder, every time I feel like I’m back on my feet I remember everything’

After about an hour I decide to head back home. Once I reach there I go straight to bed.

Julian POV

‘Would you be able to get this to Kaylee please’ the teacher asks

‘But I don’t know her address’ I reply

‘Go to the office they’ll tell you’

I walk down the corridor into the office only to be greeted by the principal

‘Hey Julian how was your first day, though I’m sorry about Kaylee she’s one of our straight A student but I guess she’s having a hard time with everything’

‘It was fine, and Kaylee was fine I guess today wasn’t her best day’

‘Hmm I guess you’re right, I’ll see you round then’ with that she leaves

I walk to the receptionist and get Kaylee’s address to drop off her homework

Less than 20 minutes later I arrive at her house and knock on her door. A woman who looks like an older version of her opens the door and grins at me.

‘Hi I’m looking for Kaylee just to drop of some work; I’m Julian by the way’

The woman in front of me just smiles and lets me in.

‘ it’s nice to see some of her friends she hasn’t had some in a while, I’ll just go up and get her for you, then you can explain everything to her’

Less than a minute later Kaylee walks down the stairs looking deflated

‘Hey’

‘Hey, thanks for bringing by my work, you didn’t have to do that Ainah could have just brought’ she smiles at e weakly

I think that’s the first time I’ve seen her smile.

‘My pleasure and I wanted to. Gives me an excuse to see you’

‘Why I was horrible to you before’

‘Yeah you were but I think that you’re still a good person, anyways I better get going’ I get up and kiss her soft cheek before I leave.

Aaaaw a kiss on the cheek at the end could this be the start of something or will Tony get in the way I haven’t forgotten about him

I know that it’s been ages since I’ve uploaded almost half a year but don’t blame me the past few months have been hectic, coursework, applications, exams etc No tie for myself. Hopefully I can get three chapters out in the next week that’s if I don’t get writers block. Hope you enjoyed it, though it’s a bit short.
