TEXT CONVO
"My mom got the job!" He texted back.
"Yay! I'm so happy for you!" I lied, staring at the blade in my hand.
"Yeah. Are you okay? You've seemed a little off lately." He texted back.
"Help me..." I stared at the words on my screen. 2 words. 6 letters. Multiple meanings. I wanted to send it, but at the same time I didn't.
He shouldn't be dragged down because of me. I shouldn't ruin his good mood.
I pressed and held backspace.
"Yeah. I'm fine." I lied through the screen.
END OF TEXT CONVO
I sighed and shivered. Not because I was cold.
"Why can't anyone just see me? Help me?" I asked myself over and over.
