The usual

I slouched it my chair. Mr Rock was droning on about algebra, my worst subject. It's not like I can't do it, It's that I don't want to. End of story. I looked around at my class mates, trying not to look suspicious. If Mr Rock saw me he'd probably give me a question to do infront of the class to prove I was listening. I wasn't. Or worse, extra algebra homework. Just thinking about it makes me shiver. As I had guessed, Tom and Harvey were fooling around with Emily's pencil case. I don't really talk to Emily, but I know she must hate sitting next to them. They're just... idiots. Plain idiots. It may be cruel to say that, but it's true. Not long ago Harvey wanted to create a "domino effect". The domino effect is when one person pushes into another and they fall into the person infront of them and so on. THUMP went the desks as they flew to the ground. We were finding pencils in weird placesfor days afterwards. Harvey wasn't very helpful. Neither was Tom, who sat on his desk talking to his destructive friend. Tom has short, dark hair and Spiderman glasses. People teased him for a bit after he got them, but that's life at school. He found it perfectly fine... I think. Harvey is completely different, though. They're both loud, obnoxious and extremely irritating, but Harvey isn't as loud. He has blondish, spiky hair and blue eyes. He has a little sister two years below him, and they look like twins. Literally. If you take away gender, hair length and general length.

Beside me was Ben. I really don't get why I have to sit next to him. He's intelligent enough, I'll give him that. It's just he can be so annoying. I don't bully him for it, not like the others. It's just sometimes it's so hard to bear. I know how he must be feeling, there was a time when I was bullied too. I wish no one had to go through that, but some people do. It's part of life, and to be honest, I don't think there's anything anyone can do to stop it. Ever. If you're low on the social ladder, yourvlife is BASICALLY screwed. But anyway, Ben has dark brown hair and is quite small. My height, in fact. You might have already realised that I'm short. I hate it, never being able to reach anything. Though being tiny has it's advantages. If my class is playing against any rough people in rugby, dodgeball and things like that, I'm harder to get.

Hey, maybe being the smallest in the class isn't so bad after all...

I get distracted so easily. Where was I? Oh yeah, my class. Behind me sits Emma, my best friend. If I looked around, I would see her. But, with Mr Rock standing at the front of the class watching us like a hawk, that wasn't an option. But I didn't need to look around, I know my best friend like the back of my hand. Well, probably not. We all have secrets no one knows about, even friends. And to me and Emma, privacy can be just gold. My best friend has dark brown hair down to her shoulders, usually down, and hazel eyes. Some people would say we're completely different, and they'd be right. For one, we both have different tastes. Emma likes make up, whereas I don't really care for it, not really. Another thing (not really about differences) is we wern't always friends. In fact I think we used to hate eachother. We only found we had things in common when we were out in the dinner line. There are so many people in my class, if I told you about them all at once, your head would explode. Probably. I don't want to risk it.

Actually, I didn't have time to think about them all, and even if I did, this would have happened eventually:

"Ah, Miss Hill. You look like you were listening perfectly. Would you care to answer this question for me?"

I slouched even more in my chair. Yep, this was definitely going to be a long day.
