Bella
Back in the King mansion, it was dark out when I had returned, I was making my way to the stairs with my head buried in my phone, replying to the texts from my team and Joe about updates.
Too distracted with the messages, I didn't realize someone was ahead of me until I bumped into him.
His hair was ruffled probably by running his hand through them a lot, he was wearing a black tee which fit his toned body with grey sweats which fit him perfectly making him look casually hot only with a pair of shorts on and three bottles of beer in his hand.
When the fuck did he become so attractive?
"Where were you?" He asked with a slur, taking me by surprise.
I thought we were still going on with the silent treatment.
"I needed some air." I lied through my teeth. If he noticed something he didn't say anything and continued up the stairs, with me following him.
I was about to walk towards my room when I heard his voice, "You coming or what?" He asked, his voice indicating he was clearly already drunk. But I followed him up the stairs nonetheless.
The night time air was brisk and cold as we opened the entrance to his terrace, which had a small cabin in the corner, and a gazebo at the far end.
We settled ourselves on the soft sofa of the gazebo, a fire was already lit in the fireplace in the middle, as he settled down the beers on the glass table surrounding the fireplace.
He cracked two beers open and handed me one, holding up his at me. I tapped his bottle with mine and took a large swig of the sour taste.
I glanced at him, his jaw was clearly clenched as he brought the bottle to his lips, his adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed.
I peered my eyes down focusing on the view in front of me which was to die for. The terrace wasn't overlooking the city like I expected it to, but it was facing the sea.
The sound of the waves mingled in our silence as we sat by each other drinking away our thoughts. Each sound of water gushing and hitting the sand soothed me in ways nothing ever could.
A part of me felt that all I wanted to do at this moment was grab a palette, some colours, a big ass canvas and sit here all night long painting.
Huh.
I scrunch my eyebrows at the thought.
I haven't had the urge to paint since..... well since a long time.
Shaking my head, I took another swig of the cold beer in my hands.
After a moment, i didn't wanna sit around, I walked towards the railing of the terrace, leaning my hands on the railing, and taking multiple sips of my beer.
I sensed him coming behind me and getting in the same position beside me. but now he had a cigarette in his hand.
All he did was blow out a puff and that was all it took for my mind to go into a frenzy. I'll repeat.
When the fuck did he get so hot?
"Where have you been all this time?" He whispered , startling me and breaking me out of my peaceful state of mind.
How do I even begin to answer this question?
One night.
One night was all it took to ruin my whole fucking family. There was no way I could tell him all the things that happened that night, the things I'd seen, the things I'd done, I have trouble processing it even now.
