Chapter. 2. Jealous.

Nobody's POV.

"Nick please just hear me out" she begged backing up against the wall.

"The time for talk is over Olivia" he said getting dangerously close. "You've said enough" he said slapping her across the face.

"Please" Olivia begged teary eyed.

"Shhh. Don't worry I'll be gentle" he whispered, tucking her hair behind her ear. Nick's eyes were cold and dark. Olivia didn't see Nick anymore...

Present day. - Olivia's POV.

"Hey Liv" Nick says as I walk into the squad.

"Hey" I say quietly as I sit at my desk.

"What's wrong?" he.asks me and I just sigh. I put a hand to my head as I fill out my DD5s. "Olivia?" he asks again.

"Just flashbacks" I mumble. He gives me a sad look but I just gave him a smile so he knows I'm OK. He takes his chair and brings it to my side of our desk. He takes my pen from my hands and all my files.

"Here I'll take it" he says looking down. "What case?"

"The creepy old guy?" I say and he nods, he couldn't help but laugh and either could I.

"Did you talk to your therapist about your flashbacks?"

"I stopped going to therapy a month ago"

"Why?"

"Because I'm tired of being the victim, complaining about every case and blabbing on about my feelings"

"What do you tell rape victims who give you that speech?"

"I tell them they'll never get better if they don't get help"

"Yeah so whadda you think I'm gonna tell you?"

"I'm not the victim OK! I can take care of myself, I've been in therapy for almost a year and it hasn't stopped the nightmares or the flashbacks and you know what? I felt much better keeping it to myself!" I yell and Nick gently places a hand on my shoulder.

"No one's forcing you to go" Nick says softly.

Just then Elliot walks in, I stand up and he walks towards me. I run to him, hugging him tightly.

Our moment is interrupted by Cragen. "You remember Dani Beck right?" he asks and we all nod. "Well since we have an uneven number and she was one of the few detectives who didn't turn us down she'll be with us. So Dani you'll be with Carisi. Fin you'll go with Munch and Amaro you'll go with Rollins" he announces and we all nod.

"Wait captain. I can't go with Rollins" Nick says. I know they had a thing that went bad but Cragen just sighs.

"Fine Rollins take Carisi and Amaro you go with Beck" Cragen says. Nick sighs and moves his stuff.

"Good to have you back" I whisper as Elliot sits down.

"Good to be back" he whispers back.

Hours later. - Nobody's POV.

Nick and Dani seemed to be getting along. They were both annoyed at the idea of Olivia and Elliot being partners. Dani however wasn't as crazy as Nick. She did try to talk him down but he was outraged watching them laughing and enjoying each others company. Nick walked towards Olivia and sat at her desk. "Why him?" he asked.
