Gulf sips his third cup of coffee as he leans back on his chair, getting comfortable while watching the cars pass by and different people walking to different directions. He slowly exhales and puts his cup of coffee down on his desk. Gulf wasn't really the one to love the taste of coffee but it was something that he became dependent on to continue on with his day.
He adjusts his top, pulling down his shirt before leaning towards his work desk again. He looks at his mood board, still not satisfied with it. It didn't have something that he thinks would catch the eyes of many. He wants his designs to stand out amongst the creations of the other designers. He wants his client to shine among the others.
Gulf is a known freelance fashion designer in Thailand. Each of his designs leave everyone's mouths open, their eyes always emitting a sense of admiration. He doesn't want to disappoint. He works hard every single hour of the day. All because of one reason and that is..
to find the one who brought back his smile, the one who sparked that hope inside of him. The one who awakened his dreams once again.
He looks over to the dried sunflower that gave him hope over the years. A sunflower that was a reminder of that person's beautiful eyes, his bright smile, his comforting voice.
"Kana!" Gulf immediately looks over to the door when he heard someone call his name. His eyes meet Win Metawin's with Min Peechaya behind him.
"Oh? You're both here already?" Gulf asks and the two walk inside the room.
"Oh no! We're just pictures who can somehow walk." Win replies sarcastically and Gulf just rolls my eyes at him.
"Gulfieeeeeeee~" Min hugs Gulf and the latter gladly returns it. Min lets go and pinches the boy's cheeks. Gulf pouts a bit, making Min laugh at him.
"It's already 5, Gulf. You've been trapping yourself here since 4 in the morning." Win says while touching Gulf's magazines that were scattered on the coffee table. Gulf sighs and shakes his head.
"No, I'm still making a-"
"Gulf." Min's voice was filled with seriousness and concern. She was concerned for her best friend's health. She and Win have watched the doe-eyed boy work so many hours everyday.
"Gulf, don't you think it's time to rest yourself first before working again? You have been forcing yourself to work, work, and work! Have you even eaten your lunch already?" Win asks Gulf who was playing with his fingers.
"Yes, I've eaten." Gulf replies. But his stomach was telling otherwise as it made a sound that was heard by everyone in the room.
"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Get up, Gulf." Min pulls Gulf up to stand. Min's eyes spotted the cup of coffee that was almost empty. She faces Gulf with an unamused expression on her face.
"Drinking coffee on an empty stomach. Really, Gulf?"
"I'm sorry, Minnie. But I ate a bag of banana chips during lunch." Gulf tried to sound cheerful in hopes of breaking the serious atmosphere in the room. Win shook his head as he exhaled slowly.
"Gulf, this isn't healthy anymore. Drinking coffee on an empty stomach is not good at all! What if your stomach gets sick?" Gulf just looks down guiltily while he listens to his friends concerns for him.
"How many cups did you drink, Gulf?"
"Uhh... 3...?"
"Okay, what the actual fuck. I'm dragging you out of here. I'm getting you something to eat." Min's grip on his wrist tightened as she pulls her with him. Gulf makes himself a bit hard to pull, grabbing unto his desk.
