"So, Venti, what's your greatest wish?"

"My greatest wish? It had always been to roam free and experience the whole world. Now I would add that wherever I go, it simply must be with you! Each day with you is an adventure, and where adventurers go, storytellers must follow!" The energy filled boy placed his hands on his hips, a smile as bright as the sun on his face.

It was normal for the boy to say such things, making his traveler friend's heart skip beats unknowingly. The two had known each other for only a few months, but it was enough for them to become the best of friends. They had ended up sharing many experiences with each other, and got to know one another on a deeper level, that of which ended up sparking feelings.

The traveler would go many places without his close friend, but he knew if any trouble were to arise, they would be there to aid him.

"Venti... I honestly don't know how you can say such things with a straight face." The two had been having a pleasant conversation about each other's dreams and passions, that of which led to the question of wishes.

"What? I didn't think I was saying anything wrong; I speak only the truth after all." The bard shook his head with a small smirk on his face. "It is you who's mind needs to be cleansed, my dear friend."

Aether chuckled running his glove covered hand through the loose hairs that couldn't make their ways into his braid. "If you say so, but when I start calling you names like 'love' or 'sweetheart' don't be alarmed."

Venti crossed his arms, taking Aether's witty comment as a challenge. "Well, I'll have you know that that wouldn't faze me at all. What's wrong with calling your close ones such names?"

"I see where you stand, and I apologize, my love." The pair shared a small laughing fit, a gentle breeze kissing their faces and blowing their hair gently, it was a nice sunny day. The two had decided to take a rest by the tall tree situated in Windrise, an area favored much by Venti.

Where was Paimon you ask? Well, she had been staying with Noelle who was baking a few sweets for the people of the adventurer's guild, Paimon volunteered to help out, with pretty much everyone but Noelle knowing what her true intentions were. Traveler, not being too interested in the whole affair, decided on exploring Mondstadt for a while but bumped into a certain bard during his stroll.

"Aether, have you ever seen a Cecilia?" The laughter between them had died down, and Venti was the first to resume their conversation.

"Yes I have."

"To me they are the most beautiful flowers in all of Teyvat." Venti turned his head to look his friend in the eyes.

"Aether... the beauty these flowers capture is so much that I and many more could write thousands of songs about its elegance alone, but I believe you, to me, are enough to send every bard in Mondstadt into a deep writer's block, for they could not come up with words to describe the sheer magnificence you hold." Aether's face flushed a dozen shades of red as he thought of how he could possibly reply to such a thing being said about himself.

Venti smiled turning his head away from the traveler, a small blush dusting his cheeks. "I once had someone I loved, but you already know his story... when I'm with you, Aether, I'm constantly being reminded of the good old days, when I was with them..."

The bard then turned back to look at his flustered friend, a small smile pulling at his lips. "Aether, you are very dear to me, I hope you return these feelings as well."
