A loud screech echoed through the maze, indicating that the box was coming up. Newt had told me that it happens every month, bringing up supplies and one new greenie. I was actually doing pretty good here. I've become very close within most of the boys. Especially Newt and Chuck who i think of as my brothers. I work with Newt as a track hoe, though i've been hoping to become a runner. Alby said that he would never allow it but i'm sure one day he will let me. I skipped alongside Newt toward the elevator waiting for the new greenie to arrive. "Why are you so excited?", Newt asked as i continued skipping beside him. "Well maybe a new friend and you guys will have to stop calling me greenie", i grinned. Newt rolled his eyes, smiling at my childishness. I stood beside Newt and Chuck came beside me as the box came to a halt. When the door opened I saw a familiar face. The first person i thought about whie coming up in the box. The same boy who has been in my dreams ever since i got here. I had dreams with him and that blue eyed girl in it. I couldn't tell him that i knew him because the others would get suspicious. "Day 1 greenie. Rise and shine", Gally said to the boy, grabbing his shirt to get him up.
TIME SKIP
Alby was showing the new boy around the glade. I had whined to him before he got the boy how i wanted to show him around.
"Why do you want to show him around so bad?", Alby asked. I looked at the floor then back up at him. "He's really cute and he looks super sweet and i wanna be his first friend." "Well i always show the greenies around." "Aw come on Alby please?" "Sorry Jules" .
He was super cute. Maybe I liked him before the maze. I probably did, i mean look at him. I stood next to Newt, barley helping him with the plants. I had pulled off my top since I was sweaty and had a tank top underneath it.I threw it on the floor and Newt looked at me, shaking his head. "What?", i asked, looking at him in confusion. "Pick it up the ground is dirty." "Fine. When you say dirty it sounds hilarious." He rolled his eyes and went back to shoveling up the dirt to plant something new. "hey Jules can I show you something?", Winston asked. "uh sure. I'll be right back, Newtie." I grinned, following Winston away. (if you don't like the outfit just imagine whatever you want)

THOMAS POV
Alby, I think, was showing me around. He told me everything I needed to know. He's taking me to meet someone else, he said that we would probably be good friends. "Green bean meet Newt. When i'm not around, he's in charge." "good thing you're always around then", Newt joked. " That was some dash you made earlier. For a second I thought you had the chops to be a runner...till you face planted. That was great." "wait a runner? what's a ru-" Suddenly there was a loud squeal. Newt sighed and Alby shook his head. I turned to where the sound came from to see a girl running toward us while a boy holding a dead chicken chased her.
