New friends

Hermione woke me up this morning to show me the ropes and get me all caught up on the last four years. For someone who doesn't like gossip she knows everything. I find it weird but I guess it's good I have her as a roommate. We walked to the great hall for breakfast and she went to sit with her friends. I stood at the entrance for a moment until Blaise called me over.

"Lyric come over here" he said waving me over.
Causing Hermione to wink at me.

I walked over  to him and his friends. he moved over making room for me. I was about to sit down but a girl came and sat down in the spot.

"Um I was gonna sit there" I say to the girl.

"You must be new here I'm Bella and I sit here" she said with an attitude.

"Bella no you don't anymore so can you get up" Blaise said trying to De-escalate the situation.

"No I'm not moving" she protested

"Ok then we'll move, Lyric how about we go to your favorite place" he said with a smirk on his face.

"Blaise how forward it's only my second day and your already trying to take me to the astronomy tower" I said innocently

" but you liked it yesterday up there" he said devilishly

"You're right so why are we still here" I said smiling at him.

With that he grabbed my hand and we walked out but instead of taking me to the astronomy tower we went to a near by stream. His friends met us out there.

"Hey guys this is Lyric" he said

"Hi I'm Draco this is Theo and this is Lorenzo" said the platinum blonde boy

"She's cute mate" said Theo

"Is she a pure blood" asked Lorenzo

"As pure as it gets" I said with a smile

"But your cousin is a half blood" Draco questioned

"Yes his father my uncle was a pure blood who sadly passed away his mom is a muggle" I replied

"That's enough about her blood status guys let's talk about something else" Blaise said

"How about we talk about the party that's happening later" Theo exclaimed

"A party" I said excitedly

"Yeah it's kind of tradition Blaise didn't tell you" Lorenzo asked smirking

"Well I was going to" Blaise said defensively

" don't be too hard on him guys I just met him yesterday" I said with a giggle

We talked for awhile longer about the party details until it was time to go to class.

"So we'll see you later right" they said walking to transfiguration

"Yeah sure" I said while walking to potions

When I got to class there was only one empty seat next to this tall kinda lightskin boy.

" can I sit here" I asked

He didn't look up at me he was focused on whatever he was doing.

"I usually work alone" he said

" oh but there's no other seat" I said

"Then sit" he said more as an order then a suggestion

"I'm lyric" I said

"And I don't care" he replied still focused on his work.

I peaked over his shoulder to see what he was doing. It looked like he was writing out a potion of some sort, but those ingredients put together would explode.

"I hope you know that would cause an explosion" I stated

"Well lyric thats the point" he replied

"Why would you want to do that" I questioned

"I need to clear out this room" he said

"I have a better way then that" I said

"Ok show me" he said sounding intrigued

"Umm professor snape I need help" I said innocently

As soon as Snape was next to me I touched his arm giving me access to his mind. I left a suggestion to take the class outside. Then he told us we were continuing the lesson outside and to follow him. Everyone except me and the boy went.

"So how did you do that" he asked

"Magic has always come easy to me and there's things I just can do" I said

"That's not helpful you know" he said

"Well I don't even know your name" I replied

"Marcello my name is Marcello" he said

"Well why did you need the class cleared out" I asked

"Snape took my wand and I need it back" he said while walking over to snape's desk.

He tried opening the drawer but it was no use the drawer was charmed shut. After letting him struggle for a bit I walked over and waved my hand in front of the drawer and it opened. He grabbed his wand and I recharmed the drawer shut. By the time we were done class was over and I headed to my dorm room. I seen dean waiting for me in my room.

"I heard you had class outside today" he said

"Yeah it's was pretty cool" I replied

"Why would you have a potions lesson outside" he questioned

"I don't know Dean I'm not in Snape's head" I said

"Lyric you need to stop doing wandless magic they don't teach it here" he said raising his voice

"Then why'd I even come here if there is nothing they can teach me" I yelled at him

"We're not having this conversation again just stop doing wandless magic" he said walking out my room

After he left Hermione peaked her head from behind the dresser in our room.

"If you need a book on wandless magic there are some in the restricted section in the library" she said walking to get an outfit out the closet.

"Thanks mione I'll have to check that out" I replied.

"We'll do it later because we have a party to get ready for" she said with excitement

Hermione slipped on a red tight dress with some cute heels to match. While I put on a black dress and black heels. When we were done we made our way to the Slytherin common room where I whispered the password pureblood and the door opened instantly. we quickly closed it behind us and I walked over to the couch.
