Now on to the Fanfic!

Hey, my name is Skylar Jackson. If you are reading this, you probably think "this is cool and exciting" and "Oh I wish this were real" Well good for you. Us on the other hand are faced with life-or-death situations pretty much all the time. During this story I have found out I'm a demi-god along with my friends and we defeated the......you know what? Instead of summing it up for you, why don't I tell you the whole story? It starts something like this, two days before my birthday:
"Thats hilarious"
"Oh, shut up."
"Make me."
"Oh my gosh."
Ugh, I think to myself. Why are my classmates such idiots? I had to resist the urge to raise my hand ask the teacher if they needed medical attention. I eventually gave up and looked over at my friends. They started giggling at a video they had just seen. My friends, by the way, are the best friends ever! They said if I got kicked out of this school, they would drop out and come to my new school. Their names are Noelle Cassidy and Charlotte Mage, and they are the only friends I have made in all my schools. I have gotten expelled a lot because I have anger issues, dyslexia, and ADHD. Though so do my friends. Well, the dyslexia and ADHD anyway.
"Hey, Skylar!" Someone shouted
"Hm?" I said half-listening.
"How much you want to bet your going to get expelled on this field trip too?" The person yelled
That snapped me back to reality. I sat up to see who was speaking, and I sighed. His name is Michael Stewart. Probably the biggest idiot ever.
"You might want to watch it." I said. This guy really gets on my nerves.
"Ooooo so scary." he said in a mocking voice
"I'm serious, watch it."
"Or what are you going to do, hit me with your little hair pin?"
My hairpin was given to me by my mother. It's encrusted with blue and white pearls and had a flower in the middle. My mom said it was passed down from my family and that it will protect me. I mean I don't entirely believe it, but nobody makes fun of it.
"You know what! That's it!" I said as I started to get up, ready to lunge at him. This is the type of situations that get me expelled.
Before I could stand all the way up, I felt a hand on both shoulders pulling me down.
"It's not smart." Noelle said. I knew she was right, she always is...and the way she stares daggers at me with her grey eyes scares me half to death.
Noelle Cassidy is a 5'4" blonde girl with remarkable startling grey eyes. Shes always obsessing over her schoolwork and always has a book in her hand. I guess she would be considered the smart one in the group, but she is also the weirdest, in a good way. She is very charismatic and loves making new friends. But she can be very aggressive at times. Noelle doesn't do a normal sport for girls like volleyball or something. She does Brazilin Jiu-Jitsu...and that scares the skin off us because we know if we make her mad, she can break our arms. Shes one of my old friends I have that I can remember. My other friend, Charlotte Mage, is one of my new friends. I actually met her through Noelle. She is a light brown-haired girl whose hair is kind of curly. She loves doing crafts and she is also a bookworm. She is very bubbly and very good with a bow. She is also very competitive with her friends and will take a challenge any day, and usually win. The thing that made us good friends in the first place though is our love for Greek mythology.
As I stared at my friends trying to calm my anger down, I could see they were doing the same. They hate Michael as much as me and I could tell Noelle was about to lose it as he continued ranting. I was afraid we would make another mess like on valentine's day. We do not speak of that. Let's just say that we are all lucky not to be in Juvie.
Just then Mr. Bruner said that we were at the Greek museum. Thank goodness. I totally forgot we were even on a bus. I gave Michael an icy stare as he walked by and smirked at me. Gosh, I hate that boy.
We got off the bus and took our tour of the museum. I loved Greek mythology; it was my favorite thing to learn about. We walked past all of the Greek gods' statues and learned about the different powers and what they represent. My favorite is Poseidon, but I never knew why. I always assumed that it was because of my love for water.
We live in Destin, Florida, so I get to spend most of my time around water. Although I might have eavesdropped and heard that we are going to long island though, and Ive been really siked ever since. Now I am just waiting for my mom to tell me so I can bring Charlotte and Noelle.
"Now listen everyone, it is time for lunch so-"
He was cut off as everyone ran past him to eat their lunch.
After me and my friends got settled down, I went to go sit by the fountain to clear my head and push down the thought that I still wanted to punch Michael. Instead, I just stared at the water in the fountain as the blue water rippled and moved. I was mesmerized. For some weird reason I feel calmer near the water. Don't ask me why, I don't know.
I looked over at my friends. Charlotte was shooting things with a little plastic bow and arrows she always kept around. And Noelle was staring at the building figuring out the different angles and stuff. I never really cared much about architecture, but she loved it. I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn't even see Michael come up beside me. He grabbed my wrist and yanked me towards him while he said, "Come with me."
I jumped out of my skin for 2 reasons. One, he scared me half to death, and two, that wasn't his voice. I don't even know if you can call it a voice. It was too deep and sounded like nails on a chalkboard.
"Ummmm" I said, unsure of what to do, and trying to get my hand free from his grasp.
He didn't even wait for a response when he started leading me into the museum.
"HEY, LET ME GO!" I shouted so I could get someone's attention, but no one seemed to notice.
Thankfully, I saw my friends look at me in a panic and started scrambling towards Mr. Bruner. I continued to struggle to get my arm free, but he had a good grip. He kept on half dragging, half pulling me towards the museum.
"HELP ME!" I screamed in a panic. I didn't know what he was doing, but it scared me.
We were so far from the lunch area, nobody heard me.
Finally, he let me go. He just dropped me in the middle of the floor and sent searing pain through my skull. I started blacking out. I think I hit my head. Why is everything spinning? I looked up to see Michael towering over me.
"Kill- Get to camp- Die"
If there was anything nice in that I didn't hear it.
"SKYLAR!" Mr. Bruner yelled "USE YOUR PIN!"
I was scared, frightened, and confused, and my head was still spinning. But I took the pin out of my hair and examined it. Looking for a hidden button or something. I looked at him for help, my eyes filled with fear.
"THE CLIP! CLICK THE CLIP!"
I finally found a little button on the clip. I clicked the back of it, and it extended into a 3-foot-long sword that was bronze and glowing slightly.
I looked up in time to see Michael's skin start to peel away as a slimy grey skin replaced it. His eyes turned red and wings extended out of his back and his teeth were replaced with sharp canines. I realized that it was a Fury from Greek Mythology. It turned to look at me. It lunged. So, I swung. It was silent before I open my eyes and looked at what had happened. It passed clean through the Fury.
The fury stayed still for all of two seconds before it exploded into dust all over me. I turned around to ask Mr. Bruner to answer the millions of questions running around in my brain, but he disappeared, and in his place were Noelle and Charlotte...
