02~ The Drag of Training

✨✨✨

    You woke up the next morning surprised at how well rested you were. So, you got up and went through your daily routine. After drying your hair, you decided to pull it back into a low ponytail so that it wouldn't be in the way during training. You put on the gym uniform jacket and waited in the lounge for Midoriya and Uraraka to come down. A few moments pass and you see the two of them step out the elevator together and you all head outside to start training. Since you all got outside earlier than everyone else, you decided to show each other your quirks. Once it became your turn to show off, you decided to show a technique you've been working on called," water needle." You paused for a second then pointed your hand towards a nearby tree and activated your quirk.

   
    (Y/n): "It's supposed to pierce through the tree. Not scratch it."

    M: "That's still really cool (y/n). You just need practice."

    U: "Right. And when you get your ice it'll all be worth it."

    (Y/n): "Thanks guys. I appreciate-"

        Without hearing him approach, Bakugo pushed past you and extended his arm to blow up the same tree you left a scratch on. He then shoved his hand in his pocket and continued to walk past you, not missing a step. Although he was farther away you heard Bakugo say," Stupid extra," so you glared at the back of his head. When you turned around, you saw Todoroki walking towards you.

    (Y/n), M, U: "Hey Todoroki."

    T: "Good morning. Do you two mind if I steal (y/n) to help her out?"

    M & U: "Go ahead. We'll see you at lunch later."

    You turned and waved goodbye to them.

    (Y/n): "So, how are we gonna do this?"

    T: "I'm not sure. Maybe we can show each other our quirk and go from there."

   
    You felt a little embarrassed to show your quirk again, but you did it anyway. Todoroki nodded and then showed you his ice quirk. Then, after a little begging, he finally showed you his fire. You were amazed at how much stronger Todoroki was than you. After some time of brainstorming, Todoroki suggested that you exhaust both your water and gas to help them become stronger and eventually turn into ice and fire. You decided to aim your left hand at trees to shoot the water, and your right hand at the sky to leak the gas.

    You noticed that after every time you knocked down a tree, Bakugo would smirk at you and blow up one of his own. You shrugged it off and interpreted it as him showing off and trying to make you jealous, but you kept at it until it was time for lunch.

    M: "So, how'd it go?"

    T: "She did great. Her endurance is really strong."

    (Y/n): "Thanks. I'm super tired though. I can barely use my hands now lol."

    As you ate and talked with your friends, you noticed Bakugo staring at you from a few tables down. You frowned at him and turned your head away, breaking the eye contact. And out the corner of your eye, you saw a shocked expression form across his face.

    You dragged yourself through the rest of your classes and you decided to go straight to your dorm at the end of the day. Once back in your dorm, you finished the little bit of homework you had and you wanted to continue training for a while longer. So you you held your right hand up and let the gas out while you were on your phone throughout the night.
