Chapter 1
Me and a few friends, Brittanie, Tiffani, and Anna (my best friend), are on our way to start a day at work. We work at playlist on the side when it's in town and today we all have different things to do sadly. We arrived at playlist and went to get a hotel room considering our home town is 3 hours away. We got out of my white jeep and walked up to the hotel after I locked the car door. I was wearing a white crop top with light blue skinny jeans and white converse since it was hot in Orlando, Florida. My brunette and pink hair is also in a ponytail that still reaches my upper back. I walked up to the reception desk and stood there for a moment then cleared my throat. The older lady looked up and asked "how may I help you" with an annoyed tone and look. "I would like to book 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each if that's possible?" I said nicely despite how mean she was "Name?" she asked in the same annoyed tone, " Vallyn, Vallyn Grace" she quickly looked down and rapidly typed on her computer. She looked back up and gave me 2 room keys and told us what rooms. I led the way to the elevator and as we got off the elevator and made our way toward the rooms which were right next to each other. I gave one room key to Brittanie and Tiffani and me Anna went into our room just to find out that our 2 rooms are connected so I walked over and opened the divider which scared all of my friends seeing as they weren't expecting or noticed what I was doing. Since it was already around 7 I ordered pizza to the room and we watched Spongebob for the rest of the night and eventually, we all fell asleep. My alarm woke us up and me being the most organized person out of the group got up and did my morning routine which consists of taking a shower, Getting dressed, brushing my teeth, putting my hair into two dutch braids, and doing some slight makeup consisting of a nude smokey eye, mascara, eyeliner, and a little bit of lip gloss. My outfit is a Light pink crop top, denim shorts, and my favorite white converse, with a pair of sunglasses on my head. I walked out of the bathroom and jumped on Anna "Get up bitch" I said while laughing. She groaned and rolled over "What time is it?" She asked "It's 7:15 now get up or we will be late for work, I'm going to get coffee. Want anything?" I asked, grabbing my car keys and my phone, my credit card was in my phone case. "Sure could I just get a caramel frappuccino, I can pay you back too" "Don't worry about paying me back I will be back in about 15-20 minutes," I said walking out the door pulling my sunglasses down over my eyes. Once I got down to my car I played a playlist with a few of my favorite artists including Katrina Stuart, Aryia, Jake Webber, and One Direction. I sang and danced in the car on my way to Starbucks while driving safely. I parked my car and groaned as I noticed there was a long line. It must've been 7:35 when I finally was able to order. "Hi! What can I get for you today?" The barista said in a fake cheery voice. "Um, could I get a grande caramel frappe with extra caramel and whipped cream, and a grande ice coffee with one shot of espresso," I said to the barista. "Yes, that will be $10.50 and what is your name for the drink?" The barista said in a bored tone. "Vallyn," I say to her, getting the money for the drinks. "Okay that will be about a 5-minute wait please stand to the side," The barista said with a fake smile on her face as I moved over to let the next customer order. I waited patiently and about 7 minutes later I was able to get my drinks and leave. I drove as quickly as I could back to the hotel to pick up Anna, Brittanie, and Tiffani up from the hotel. I texted them I was on my way and to meet me outside the hotel as I sped through traffic and driving past a red light once or twice. At 7:50 I got to the hotel and they quickly got in the car knowing we were running late. I gave Anna her drink and sipped my own. "Why didn't you get me and Tiffani some coffee?" Brittanie said in a bitchy tone. "Because you guys weren't up yet and I didn't feel like hearing you complain that I woke you up." I said back at her as I drove way past the speed limit. "Well you could have gotten us a plain coffee or something," Tiffany bitched to me, I rolled my eyes as I responded to her sarcastically, "You're right, next time I will get you some." Brittanie and Tiffani scoffed at me and rolled their eyes. I rolled mine back at them and we all stayed silent as I quickly drove us to work. We arrived two minutes before we had to be there, thankfully. Anna and I went to the concession stands while Brittanie and Tiffani did cleaning duty. We organized the snacks and drinks and started up the popcorn, Icee, and pretzel machines, while also starting to cook burgers and hotdogs. Then I started to hear a bunch of teenage girls scream very loudly. I sighed, knowing that this was going to be a long day as my ears started to ring. Anna gave me a look of annoyance agreeing with me silently. We served a few people here and there for about an hour and a half when suddenly I had to use the bathroom. After I finished using the bathroom as I walked out, what looks to be a 15-year-old girl comes up to me. "Have you seen Sam and Colby? I know they're around here somewhere Colby just posted on his story" She said rapidly. "No I have not but I'm sure you will find them" I replied nicely and walked off back to the concession stand. I got bored so I took a sucker from one of the sucker things a popped it in my mouth as I made myself a blue Icee. Then we got a customer and since Anna was using the bathroom, I had to help them out. When I went to go help them in front of me had to have been the hottest guy I have ever seen. He had brunette hair with blue tips, his eyes were icy blue, his hands were covered in rings, he was wearing chains around his neck and had a chain dangling off of his pants. He was wearing black skinny ripped jeans with a light blue shirt that said now or never on it along with black vans. I realized I was staring and quickly looked back up and met his gaze. He was smirking so I'm assuming he caught me staring. "Hi! What could I get you?" I asked " A blue and red Icee that's all," He said I got caught up in staring at him again then quickly turning to make his Icees. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Anna coming back but with two other people, a boy, and a girl. She comes in and continues to organize everything a bit. ¨Oh Vallyn this Sam and Katrina¨ Anna started after she realized I was very confused ¨ You know the YouTubers I watch all the time¨ she finished quieter in an attempt to not let them hear. ¨Oh yeah those people you're obsessed with and scream at me over¨ I said trying to embarrass her as Sam, Katrina and the other guy which i'm assuming is Colby now that she pointed that out. "You didn't have to say all that!" Anna says to me while hitting me hard on the head. Sam, Colby, and Katrina all laugh as Anna blushes in embarrassment and mumbles something under her breath. "I guess you know who we are then," Sam starts, "But who are you guys?" Kat finishes for Sam. "My name's Vallyn but call me Val, that's what my friends call me and this is Anna." I say to them. I caught Colby looking in my direction but I wasn't sure if he was looking at me. Throughout the rest of the day Sam, Colby, and Katrina hung out with us while we worked and we helped them hide from crazy fans. I've caught Colby staring at me a few times and he caught me staring back, I mean, he's hot. Then suddenly we hear the most annoying voices ever, Brittanie and Tiffani. "Ugh, I can't believe we had to clean the men's bathroom, someone needs to get some help because that did not look or smell healthy." Brittanie says to us. Then they saw who was with us and suddenly they put on the most slutty faces ever. "Oh hello, didn't know you guys had company. My name is Brittanie and this is Tiffani and what are you doing hanging out with these two losers? We are much better than them and we can show you a good time." Brittanie said eyeing Sam while Tiffani was eyeing Colby. "Yeah, why don't we ditch these losers? I think we all deserve a little break from life." Tiffany said flirtatiously. While Tiffani and Brittanie were talking up Colby and Sam, Kat was giving me and Anna her number. Then we heard the most disgusting thing ever. "Think about it Sam, just me and you and a bedroom." Brittanie says walking over to Sam who was visibly uncomfortable. Once Kat heard this she got so pissed I swear even the devil himself would be scared of her, She stormed over to Brittanie and said very aggressively ¨ You obviously know who we are and I would think you knew he had a girlfriend so stop hitting on my boyfriend we can all tell he is visibly uncomfortable so just stop and leave ok.¨ Brittanie just looked at her then looked back to me slowly smirking and said ¨ I can't leave Vallyn over there is my ride¨ thinking she got away with it ¨oh I see then I will pay for your uber back to where ever¨ Kat said pulling out her phone.
A/N this is the first chapter we will try and put one maybe two chapters out every week but for now, here we are- Thing 1 and Thing 2 <3
