Hello there, my name is Rosalie Cullen, and no I am not a vampire. I keep getting told that because of my last name. Okay back to what I was saying, I'm 17 years old and live in the city of LA. I lived in LA literally my whole life, I hate here. I'm a senior in high school and I have no idea what to do for living. I have a 12 year old sister, Tessa, and a 22 year old brother, Enzo. Also, I have two lovely friends, Celeste and Heather. We have been friends since 4th grade, which is pretty great. It's the last week of school until winter break, we have 3 weeks off, which we will be spending most of somewhere that's like across the world or something. Just imagine if I met a famous person while we were in our trip, that would be cool. Anyways, I am really excited and I really have to wake up for school so bye.

I wake up from the alarm that was ringing from my phone because somehow the alarm clock, that I bought less than a month ago, is broken. I'm never buying anything from that thrift store ever again. As I turn off the alarm, I see the time and quickly get up. I then thought about something that I never thought about before, that I don't have a window in my room. I've had this room for almost a year now I haven't noticed that. I shrugged and continued doing whatever I was doing.

Running towards the closet, there was laying in the floor like a dog, my backpack with my homework scattered across the bedroom floor. I quickly pick up my homework, shove it into my backpack, and continue looking for clothes. After scanning through my closet, I made my way to the bathroom.

Taking a hot shower made me feel more relaxed. It made me feel like I had nothing to worry, when I had a lot on my plate. Time goes by when your happy. I knew today was going to be a good day.

It was seven in the morning when I finished getting ready. My hair was wavy like usual with a white headband, and wearing a white long sleeved turtleneck with a brown oversized jacket over it and chocolate brown corduroy pants. I was tying my shoelaces on my new white platformed converse when I heard a knock on the door.

"Rose get up, mom finished break-", I interrupted my little sister with opening the door. She gave a weird look and walked up the stairs. My bedroom is in the basement but it's like I have a whole apartment to myself. There is a bathroom, a small living room outside my room, and I have a fridge in my room. But the fridge only had Arizonas and Water.

I rolled my eyes and headed to the kitchen. The smell of coffee and pancakes was all around the house. It brought back a memory of when I used to work at a coffee shop.

"I'm running late, here are the pancakes. And Tessa there is orange juice in the fridge, Rose you can have the left over coffee. Byee", my mom rushed out of the house and quickly got into her car. I feel bad for her, she has so much on her plate. I wish she had someone to help her. I insist I could help, but she just won't let me. It's been just us 3 for almost a year now. Our parents got divorced when I was 9, I haven't heard from my dad since I was 15 and my brother just moved out a almost a year ago. I miss him. My brother, not my dad. My dad is a bitch.
